Nigeria is an independent country.
Hence, the US can't directly interfere in its affairs.
I know that this news will never meet you well. Sorry bro, think twice and reason well and think reasonably.

That group is something else. They want a 40% share of Abacha loot because of Biafra. If this is the kind of group an ethnic group puts forward to fight for their cause, then they have a lot of work to do

International Criminal Court has the jurisdiction. Guess what? The head of the court is an IGBO man!
No Chile Eboe-Osuji is a Calabar man who was born in Imo state besides do you think ICC is Igbo land or Nigeria were judges can be manipulated to pass a judgement in favour of a particular individual or body

This is what happens when you allow emotion to dictate your actions for your brain.. you end up becoming a serial loser.

They went to emotional war, the one and only war they ever fought in their entire existence. No proper planning, nothing. They even hoped their enemies would feed them during the war. Emotions over brain.. They lost woefully.

In politics, they have completely lost out. Even a minority tribe in South south now has more relevance or say in national issues than them. Thanks to their meaningless emotions and hatred for everyone.

Even ordinary agitation, they can't do it properly properly.
Now they are losing away from home.

Imagine suing a nigerian government in another country.. talk about stupidity of the highest order. And what would have happened if they had won? Mr Trump will send us army to come and arrest buhari? grin

This is the type of stupidity imbibed in them and they hail everyday. So it is not unexpected.

The group, through its plaintiff, Godson M. Nnaka and his lawyers, is also seeking payment of 40 per cent of the $550 million Abacha loot.
