MSCI- NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR 26 JULY 2018/GENERAL COMMENT

The “MSCI- Nigeria” selling party continued as shown by the movement in the fund’s portfolio.

Staying on the sideline continues for me, while looking for those extreme lows. I am only interested in a stock if the fundamentals leads, I will then follow up with the technical.

With what is happening we will soon know who moves the market, as it seems some people are still not clear what influence the Foreign Portfolio Investors have on the market. Let us wait and see where the All Share Index will be in the next 3 weeks if the offloading continues. At start of trading today the All Share index is at 36,427.22.

Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling.
Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source.

N:B

Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who is doubting the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

How many have you recommended? Irrelevant opinion but you still come around to tap from others so called "irrelevant opinion". Stop talking from the side and of your mouth and appreciate for once!
Seems that your money did not only blindfolded your sense of humour but also clouded your sense of reasoning.

My boss, dont mind his nonsense talks.
He has benefitted immensely from this forum. When that bully came he was nowhere to be found just to come out and started spewing rubbi.sh. If he's richer than Dangote let him keep it to himself cos he's not feeding anybody here.
Those that were resourceful here we know them. If he cant appreciate their efforts and selfless service, canvass for peace to reign, at least he shouldnt come and be fueling the unpalatable situation on ground.

Spell out what he had said to you to warrant attack on him or do you mean Im same as Agba? I laughed in Spanish!
Its unfortunate you only see and read what you wanted to see/read but not picking out the relevant messages in his post.
You will keep missing the point cos the Agba you were talking about does not have time for your likes. Keep using online personalities to judge a person. Cos someone humbles himself and not arrogant like you are, you think you are better than everybody.

I do not understand how Oando will post the Half year 2018 accounts without submitting the 2017 full year to NSE. The company did not make a profit as it is painting it to look all over the news. How can Oando Trading be making loss? I do not get it.

You can use the Q2 2018 result and full year 2016 result to infer the 2017 full year result. Look at the change shareholder's fund (Total Equity) changed between 2016 and Q2 2018. This should be equal to the sum of Total Comprehensive income in 2017 and Q2 2018.

This is suffering from the ignored stock effect. The share price has not performed in the past so nobody pays it any attention.

Union Diagnostic had negative retained earning for a couple of years (- N635m as @ 2015, -N320mas @ 2016) which has now been written off with the latest result. (+N157m as @ Q2 2018). The company is now in a position to pay dividend to its long suffering shareholders with a reasonably high dividend yield at the current proce

Market Cap is N710m 2016 PAT was N316m valuation wise it is pretty cheap. With the latest result it is on track to exceed the 2016 PAT.

The demand for their services (Medical tests) is huge, profitability has been consistent and growing steadily over the past 4 years and capital requirement is low with minimal debt. Float is 49% or N340m so slight buying pressure pushes the share price up.

One should not be anchored to the past but update the prospects of the company with recent information.

Cheers
The MonkeyHunter

Good analysis, will like to see more of this.

your post this days get as it be, infact it contrary to what I have been thinking/expected of you. until am sure is the same tritri I will assume the ID is hack.

Agba u hav been mention since yesterday can joke, can wish price to go back to the car park, can catch fun saying whatever he likes. behind his post are wisdom. when there is no topic to talk about, do you want here to be like a ghost thread? joke can be part of learning so far is not abusive/insult. apart from joke can you quote any of Agba post related to insult/abuse.

have you ever post a topic and ask Agba for contribution that he ignore or joke about it. I am bold to say Agba post made me to begin independent analysis on NSE stock. I gain this thru his post on this thread and I develop this to form part of my core strategy from which it leads to a stock price valuation and it work for me.

if I see every post here the way you are seeing it now, may be SKYE bank would have be 80% of my portfolio thinking the price is too low for a banking stock.
