Good day @bellong and other Ogas in the house. A false information was posted since last year on Nairaland which has someone's name and the person in question is about to apply for visa. Pls my question is how to get such a thread pulled down as there are no evidences whatsoever to back the claims of the person. But this is likely to dent such person's name online unjustly. Kindly advice what steps the person can take. I actually suggested if any moderator can be contacted to help close or ban the thread or better still get any Nairaland admin to help pull the post or thread down totally to avoid Troubles with NJL with this current wahala of DIBP. Pls kindly help anyone who has any lead as how this can be resolved asap. Thanks

Hello please gun for Civil Engineering professional and don't pray to be assessed as engineering technologist. It has become very tough to gain Invitation for engineering tech. And I believe its your experience after PGD that will likely be counted for you because of the skill level of the occupation.


Better still, as @Bellong advised, try making your CDR to apply for Draftperson using HND qualifications.

ACS assessment: May 2017, CO contacted me to change my Occupation to ICT support engineer. I checked to see if any state was sponsoring it, but there was no state. I noticed that it has the same JD with ICT systems engineer, and SA was sponsoring it then on 190. I sent the CO a
mail saying that I would rather go for systems engr instead of support engr.

May 23rd : Positive Assessment

May 25th: Completed and submitted EOI to NSW

April 04: PTE 1 (W: 79, R;76, S:73, L:73

June 08: PTE 2 (Was trying to get 20 in English cos I needed 70 points for SA nomination)

June 18: PTE 3 (Scored W: 82 S: 80, R: 80, L; 76) I booked another test for the 23rd of June.

June 22nd: NSW stream 2 invitation

June 28th: NSW approval and ITA

June 30th: Application submitted and uploaded all documents

July 24: CO requested for more employment evidence, form 80 for my 3yr old son

Sept 25: CO requested for my sisters adoption court order and birth certificate

Added newborn in September

Oct 20: CO requested for newborn medicals

July 24, 2018: Grant

IED: 11 Jan 2019

Also, you can gather your evidence against the accusation as a pro-active move should in case things go south

Marketing specialist is eligible for 190 & 489. The caveats only applies if you are applying for Visa 186 (Employer nominated) and 482 visa only.(Temporary skill shortage). I got this from Vetassess: Marketing Specialist (ANZSCO Code 225113).

If the degree is not in a highly relevant field, three years of employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years in a field which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation is required. This is reduced to two years if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Diploma level in a highly relevant field.

A positive assessment of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive Skills Assessment Outcome.

This means you can nominate Marketing specialist bearing in mind that 3years out of your 8years experience will be deducted in lieu of Qualification.

So read up on the ANSZCO sure ption for Marketing specialist and ensure you have enough supporting evidence from Employer to back up your claims

OK, thanks alot for your response. Honestly, the issue is just an issue without a Proof. No one even knows the particular person that posted such a post. But, do you have any idea how long it takes to treat cases of a reported post?

Use your debit card ( master or visa). Eco bank exchange rate is around 269/AUD while GTB is 276/AUD. Most ATM cards are either master or visa cards.

A highly relevant field of study would be Hospitality Management,
which is the study of managing the operations of organizations
which provide hospitality services (ASCED).
Tourism/Events Management Studies without relevant subjects in
Hospitality/Hotel Management would not usually be considered
positively for this occupation.
Please note that employment as Restaurant Manager on its own
will not be positively assessed for Hotel or Motel Manager as it
better matches the separately listed occupation of 141111 Café or
Restaurant Manager.
