At least we have not come close to the violence the PSL had last season. Enyimba vs Kano is always packed along with any regional derbies outside the south south. Rangers Vs any eastern club means a packed cathedral. Just like the north.
We have a long way to measure up to PSL standards but attendance isn't one of them

Kano Pillars, Enyimba, MFM, El kanemi,...Those are some of the teams with good attendance but i think SA have better attendance overall.

Add Katsuna, Nasarawa, Yobe, Enugu, Heartland, Sunshine stars and Lobi. These clubs stadiums are packed like church every Sunday.

French Club Bordeaux 'Follow' 20-Goal Striker Adeleke Akinyemi To Liepāja
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that in-form Nigerian striker Adeleke Akinyemi is attracting huge interest from French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux.

Akinyemi, who doesn't turn 20 until next Saturday, was on target for Ventspils in their 2-1 loss to Bordeaux in the second qualifying round of the Europa League on August 2.

Shortly after the meeting at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique, Bordeaux held talks over the signing of the teenager and it was agreed that they will continue to monitor him before making a final decision.

A representative from Bordeaux will be present at the Stadions Daugava (Liepāja) for Ventspils's Cup clash with Liepāja on Monday, August 6 and he has been instructed to run the rule over Akinyemi.

The likes of Altach, Brondby, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Freiburg watched him live and direct score his 20th goal of the season in all competitions two days ago.

As exclusively reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is considering inviting Akinyemi to the national team for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles.

Thank you my brother that is all I am saying. I watch the PSL and their stadiums are always empty apart from 2 or 3 big matches like Chief v pirates. Even sundowns struggle with attendance and their tickets are free as long as you have a jersey.

I don't care also he should just retire already and don't even know why he should get called again when yakubu was forgotten after his blunder

Nigeria's league used to have strong local following. Access to foreign leagues has really affected the league following.

Kelechi's second goal

http://twitter.com/LCFC/status/1025796094050095105?s=19

Pains me Nacho is not playing under a system known for creating numerous goal scoring opportunities. He has the potential to be a lethal hit man but needs the right system to get the best out of him.

Kudos to him making the best out of the preseason and I hope he continues in the upward trajectory. He should stay focused and keep working hard. I hope Puel plays in a more offensive fashion this season and give Nacho a good run.

I'm marveled because, to me, Uwa aint worth keeping for another week let alone year. The article said, he is needed around to help the young inexperienced boys that make up the Monaco squad. Dude aint going out for another loan oo.

The hands of Monaco sporting Director. Michael Emenalo guy. We could possibly see another Nigerian player move there soon enough

Iheanacho with another goal.. Man on fire
This will help his confidence going forward into the new season.

But he'll have to fight it out with Vardy. A goal against Man U Will go a long way. Presently playing behind the striker seems unrealistic considering Leicester new signing Maddison. Dude is a baller... Nacho needs to keep fighting...

Wishing him the best

If things are set in order at par with PSL we would easily be on the same bearing with the North Africans in winning Continental glory. But then, no one will help us UNTIL we help ourselves

Good work by Iwobi for Arsenal's first goal against Lazio. He hit the post and Reiss Nelson turns it in.

If fundamental things are put in place, we could easily have a strong following again. Here in Minna there is serious following of their Niger Tornadoes, just imagine if there was 25% of that glamour we see in other parts of the world.

At worst we have people having local & foreign team of choice

Ighalo has actually done nothing for Nigerian football and doesn't deserve special treatment, now, you can make a case for Yakubu, but there is no case for Ighalo.

Trust me I don't want ighalo to be invited but don't be suprised if dinosaur rohr invite him again

Thank God you know what yakubu has done for Nigeria football, but many dumb Nigerians who know nothing about football will keep on insulting yakubu as if that's the worst miss ever.

Nigerians are ungrateful.

Can we host the best AFCON experience Africa has ever witnessed. Having great stadiums is still our challenge. But I’m not talking about stadiums alone.

Yes, we can host it.

We have good cities with good infrastructures like good roads, good hotels, airports, capital projects such as stadiums, training camps, athlete villages, hospitals and transport hubs, restaurants, mobile media, malls, security etc

Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Uyo and Kano can provide these infrastructures.
