Don't!!!!!!! Go for NTEL instead, their unlimited plan is truly unlimited, at #19,800.

Smile Unlimited LITE is basically a 20GB plan, then it get's really slow till 25GB, after that, the speed is virtually unsable.

Same with the Unlimited premium, it's basically an 80/85GB plan, gets really slow till 90GB, then becomes unsable

500 naira night plan is also not going at all.

I should seriously consider Swift at this point. It's just the steep cost (considering that I have other networks to jump on without paying so much for starters) of joining the network that's putting me off

MTN is not cheap. But with all the stories from users of glo, airtel & ntel. You'd agree with me that MTN is amongst the few reliable ones albeit pricey!

Sure; but MTN in my crib is not any more reliable than SWIFT, and SWIFT comes at a much more pocket friendly price...

In my book, the only reason I'd go for/return to MTN or Etibaba for data in this price era over SWIFT, for one, is if SWIFT does not have service coverage in my zone.

I think NTEL did some kind of compensation for WAWU Users. I checked my data few days ago and saw 118GB, thought it was network issue. Just checked now and still have 109GB left.

There are different "data only" plans and I do that of N3000 for 48GB, twice a month. You can decide to subscribe for any but I discovered the 3k own has more value.

NTEL is quite good in my Area. My wife alone uses like 4 - 5GB daily with Netflix, Iroko TV and Instagram. On a daily basis we both use like 5-7GB.
