abiodunalasa:You speak blasphemy. I don't think you're a Christian. And if you are, kindly find out about the man in Bible who said if God opened the windows of heaven a prophecy won't be fulfilled. God is not man and his weapons are not carnal. He's called the mighty man in battle. He can make all those APC, tanks, Rifles and aircraft to fail. Some trust in chariots and others in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord |

Few weeks ago there was an argument about regional powers in Africa, the argument started with Ethiopia and Nigeria who has more military and political clout... In international relations, a regional power is a state that has power within a geographic region. States which wield unrivalled power and influence within a region of the world possess regional hegemony. Ethiopia just reinforced its regional hegemony. Before some of you finish reading this post, Ethiopian forces would have captured the Somali regional state. _________ Ethiopia says it ordered army to enter Somali regional state to “restore order”. Witnesses in Jigjiga have confirmed dozens of military vehicles entering the regional capital Monday. It follows after days of rift between Somali regional leaders and the federal Govt. ---- BREAKING NEWS: #Ethiopia federal forces have tacticly retreated to the outskirts of #Jigjiga after clashes with local #Somali paramilitary forces. They are now preparing to wage an all out war to retake the city and will most likely pillage everything in there way. ________- Ethiopia: Federal Forces have reportedly took over the security in the government buildings in Jigjiga, the capital of the Somali region. UPDATE: President of #Somali regional state of #Ethiopia, Abdi Iley resigns on Monday evening hours after thousands of Ethiopian federal forces re-enter into #Jigjiga city, following three days of political dispute with the Federal Govt which left more than 50 pple dead. #Somalia. ______ In less than 2 days, they have taken a city filled to the brim with veteran Somali militias.

Prior to the six day war in 1967, the Egyptians had the most sophisticated and up to date military in the middle east , collaboration with the Russians was top notch, Had the best air defence systems, best of engineers, had the strongest armoured divisions and boasted of all the modern MIGs which was like an F-35 Lightening those days and guess what? the Israelis with less experience highly undermanned, under funded(cos at a point in time prior to that war Golder Meyer ) the mother of Israel whom was their prime minister did a fund raiser to raise money, totally obliterated a combined forces of the Egyptians and all the Arab neighbors, the loss was so devastating that the then Egyptian demigod Gamal Abdel Nasser who was so sure of the destruction of Israel was forced to make a peace deal with them after they capture the Sinai, even the Golan heights which belonged to Syria was captured and till today its still and Israeli territory never to go back to them. What is most strange to me is that the Israelis can hold their own no matter the situation. Even if their air assets is only made of piper arrows/ Tampico aircraft one way or the other they always have their way, and i think this is partly due to the sheer zeal to survive annihilation. Once spoke to an Israeli who I later understand was an agent(Shin bet) he said they always triumph not because they are the strongest nor the fastest but they have the heart and will to survive if not so they will be thrown into the river by their cousins, he said after the pogrom in Europe they swore never to allow that happen again, that no matter anywhere in the world they have the ability to takeout anyone(na their my mind cut). As far as war is concerned just 4get those Israelis they are on a class of their own. |

The Russian Sukhoi 37 features thrust vectoring and a radical forward swept wing design, a major competitor to the General dynamics made F-22.

ugo4u:You mean Sukhoi 47 (Berkut) Why didn't the Russian go into serial production, it never materialized The sole aircraft produced served as a technology demonstrator prototype for a number of advanced technologies later used in the 4.5 generation fighter SU-35BM and current fifth-generation jet fighter Sukhoi Su-57. |

https://www.nairaland.com/4661694/security-agents-block-nass-entrance 1) Understand that politicians are no one friends. 2) They don't like you that much. It's all about their own personal interest and they understand that you are gullible to support them 3)To give unbiased facts about intelligence agencies meddling into politics, then you need to understand the basis of their work. 4) There's nothing legal about intelligence agencies. They do good jobs in illegal ways. 5) The reason for their deployment can be political but there's a non political reason why they're been deployed. They're that friend that will bring out your secret to destroy you whenever they're called on. By the time they finally expose you, people who support you will be against you. In short, keep off politics and do your own to vote. Don't go and die outside supporting anyone. I'm not political, I'm not biased. I'm just overwhelmed with our political office holders who hold us unto ransom get more support from us and use we citizens against each other just to get sympathy. My loyalty remains that of the FRN whom I swore an oath to! |

The popular maxim "Show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are" can be rephrased "show me your neighbours and I'll tell you who you are". India vs Pakistan rivalry has turn both countries into research freaks. Israeli vs the Arabs has turn the Israelis into something else. Iran vs Israeli Has made both countries a force to reckon with America vs Russia inextension the world. You all know how far. But comedown to Nigeria and look at the Niger, Cameroon, chad Benin, Togo chai!!! God go help us. When the then President of Gambia refused to leave office something funny happened, Nigeria airforce scrambled an F7 which flew very low above the Presidential villa, immediately fear catch the man and his bodyguards, his Generals abandoned him. No be person tell am make him handover. If not for this bokoharam crises maybe we will still be forming boss with our Jaguars and migs17s because our neighbors are just good at eating food. ![]() So for me Book haram crises is a blessing in disguise. |

iblawi:why are you like this? This is an event that occurred, similar to what some of us argued about few weeks ago. If it was Nigeria that entered Cameroon for instance, won't you post the news all over here? This your "i hate Nigeria bullsh1t" is getting tiring. Anyway please rest easy. |
