Parliament of Uganda Speaker, Rt. Hon Rebecca Kadaga, CNN Africa, Founder of Elfreeda Foundation, Mrs Uloma Rochas Nwosu, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs IDIAT OLURANTI ADEBULE have been confirmed to be among other leading personalities for the 2018 edition of the ‘African Virtuous Women Awards’ slated for Women Development Center, Abuja on the 1st of September, 2018.

The event extremely distinguishes outstanding personalities in the continent who have contributed enormously to development in Africa through their selfless efforts will attract high-flying guest in this year’s historic event.

Revealing this to newsmen, Dr. Sandra Madaha, Secretary of the award ceremony, said that it is for vital women in the continent who have written their names on the sand of time with humanitarian and leadership achievements in the society.

Among notable names nominated for the award include Zimbabwe Lawmaker, Hon. Majome Fungayi, Hon. Rita Orji, Hon. Onyejeocha Nkeiruka, Mrs Angel Adelami, Mrs Doris Akol, Ms. Chikezie Ijeoma, Namia Roberts, Dr Fatima Akilu, Rosaline Meurer, Greatmore Chatya, Josephine Okot and many others.


According to Dr. Madaha, Mrs Uloma Rochas Nwosu is to be honoured with the award to recognise her continuous commitment and outstanding contribution to women, widows and the less privileged in the society.

When they are caught for drug peddling & prostitution they won't shout Igbo amaka or call them Biafrans they will call them Nigerians.

But when they get cheap recognition that the yolobas have been getting since the creation of Nigeria they shout igbo amaka or call them Biafrans.

Weak people from a tribe of people with inferiority complex.

nothing stop you from shouting Yoruba ajoka or afonja ajoka ,will you beat a child at the same time stop the child from crying?abooki people and afonja people 've ruled Nigeria for more than 40 years igbos did not die you people cornered everthing still igbos don't cry but when we shout igbo amaka then ekwensu & osukosu in you will manifest may igbo amaka be your nightmares iseeee
