Please don’t wish me bad, as I don’t know if I was delayed or approved.. please check what I wrote again.

You like trouble bro. Your application is ready, just go and collect it and see what is inside yourself. No need asking people to guess wether it was approved or not. Every aplication is unique and different.

Please brace up, go collect it, come back and give us your testimony of approval.

Thanks so much. Should I leave the "Consultant ICCRC number " box empty

Yes. You should leave that Consultant ICCRC number box empty, if you did not use the services of an ICCRC Consultant. Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) is the national regulatory body designated by the government of Canada in July 2011, to regulate Canadian immigration, citizenship and international student advising services.

Please house how many days on average does it take the Medicals to reach the CIC Visa Officers?

It typically takes between 3-5 days for the Approved Clinics to compile and send your medicals to CIC, as long as there is no need for either further tests or repeat x-rays etc.

Hello Guys,

I will leave the long story for the other day, which I will hopefully share with the house when everything has fallen in place.

I applied online on May 15 and I opted for upfront medical in week 12 (August 03) when no progress was being made so as to avoid delay when I get medical call-up. I sent my upfront medical information sheet to Accra through CSE on August 07 then I got medical request on August 08. I sent emails to Accra, Lagos and London since then but nothing has changed on my profile.

Kindly advise me on what to do next?

Thank you and may God bless you all.

I think you should go and have medicals again. Go to children's practice, within 2 days u will have it uploaded and u will be sure to have it approved afterwards. Rather than waiting for them to upload it

Thank you @blaqnony, I did my upfront at Qlife and when I called them for a possibility of doing another test they said that it is not possible because the one that I did is valid for one year, do you think I will be able to do at the Children's Practice?

Where is Qlife located? I think children practice is best for quick medical pass.

Do you intend to teach in Nigeria secondary school with this masters degree after your program, my thought that's not career progression and you already have msc, the v.o are aware that teachers in Nigeria are underpaid.
Universities in Nigeria offer this program then why Canada which is more expensive. you have to narrow this mathematics education to you research interest.

@Teslims, Just be calm. You don't have to go for another medical. Just hold on for a few days, they will update your profile.

Congrats

. @Newman1010 Thanks! I really appreciate your time writing those words of motivation to me and others that got denied. I don’t think the VO’s check the application right but who am I to question them. I paid tuition for a year and I’ve been to 8 countries which I never extended my stay for once. That should be enough reason to know I won’t stay back after studies in canada lol. God knows best. Will follow your advice and reapply in January. Thanks a lot

Okay, what is your intended program in Canada? What did you study at undergraduate level and what kind of job do you do?

If that is the case then you might wish to give them some time to update the medicals you did. On the interim please send mails and Webform, informing IRCC

Good Afternoon House,

Please is it possible to defer an admission after visa approval.

For instance. Visa approved in say October or November 2018 and Program starts in January 2019

Can one write to the school to defer the admission till May 2019 due to some personal reason.

Your kind contributions will be appreciated based on previous experience.
Yes you can as long as the school have May session. Not all schools have programs in May, so try to confirm that from the school

Thanks harde, because it was so surprising to me, as I wonder why my eligibility and background check is still running on my cic account and yet VFS Abuja sent me a mail that my application was dispatched yesterday to them.. I know one thing for sure, this CIC people are quick and happy in telling someone your application has been refused..this is great suspense as I wait for the courier
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Nobody: 7:00am On Aug 11, 2018
I couldn’t pay the fees before applying because payment of fees is contingent on the completion of course registration which commenced early July. From the gcms note, the visa officer is doubtful I would pay my fees. Money is available but he doubts the source. So paying fees now apart from the fact that it seems desperate, it’s also mandatory, because the deadline is quickly approaching. If I pay the fees I might as well also upload my medicals. I think the visa officers shouldn’t count this as desperation because they are trained officials. I have a deadline for resumption, and I’m sure no one would want to resume school late, hence they should understand the reason for the rush. Moreover I applied earlier to avoid rush/desperation and was denied unfortunately

Dwebb55:

This is just my opinion but you're seemingly sounding desperate now. You didn't pay your fees before applying and didn't do medicals as well but now want to add it midway through. Can you see how it looks?

Let the gurus comment too!
