please what is the normal rpl of eod 2003 @ idle and normal rpm when AC is On.

mine is @ 1000 rpm idle and @500 rpm when AC is on.

when d AC is On the engine will be shaking a little.

is this normal.

Secondly,
the eod has single cell radiator and the fan starts rolling when the key is on ACC.
i thought d fan should pick up automatically when its hot enough..what can i do to rectify this issue.

kindly assist cara expert in the house.

Most technicians would tell you to leave the single cell radiator in there, return the Thermostat and wire the car back to factory setup.

that's what he read in books and might have tried it a couple of times and it worked.

These Days I am not in a hurry to tell client to return Vehicle to Factory specs unless the client is fully informed of the consequences of such actions.

For the benefit of every one I have opened a thread here about this.

Oga Gazzuzz good evening.

Pls I have two questions.

Car is a 98 Camry.

1. Previous owner was using I think visco 2000 engine oil. But I want to change to mobil 1. Pls your candid advice.

2. Yesterday, car started jerking when put in reverse gear. Pls what could be the cause of this. And solution.

Earnestly expecting your reply to the above questions.

My warm regards.

Probably cheaper alternative in Long run is to change tires and possibly rim. You won't get a lot of lift but maybe just enough. Lifting the car itself or using spacers in the long run will increase your maintenance costs.

Alternatively, and I say this without any sarcasm, sell and get a car with more clearance.

4cylinder or V6? Stick with a good brand of 20w-50.

Jerking is a misfire, cannot be solved remotely, you need to see a mechanic.

sorry my people, because I have come again to disturb you. it is still because of my car. though old but I still like it. the car is Mitsubishi gallant wagon 1998 2.4 engine. honestly the car has served me in the past years. it developed engine misfiring which I have called the rewire and mechanic to manage but no avail. this prompted me to buy scanners to detect the codes of the problem troubling the car. the first one I bought is this Bluetooth compatible scanner called Elm 327 the d900 live data scanners. when I inserted all these into my car 16pins , one for the Bluetooth it said it cannot see ecu and the other said it cannot connect the link dlc. how do you help out and shall I do next. thanks very all of you for not been tired of answering my questions to alleviate my problem and pain.
