If you read Joel 2:28, you will understand that God is not leaving women behind in this last days move of the spirit.

OP, what is the meaning of the emboldened Abeg? So, it's no longer about what the bible says, but about 'comfort'? If the bible preaches against rape, but I find this preaching 'uncomfortable ', seeing that I'm the 'final arbiter of truth', does it mean I can rightly practice rape?
and if the Bible allows slavery, since it's the Bible we shouldn't argue

According to the scriptures which these women claimed to be reading, women have no authority to preside in congregational affairs less talk about taking the lead.
Faithful bible characters such as Euodia, Syntche, Priscilla, Dorcas etc help out in other affairs such as helping out younger women to serve God, they never have preside or take lead in the congregational matters. The scriptures says that women are to tie their head when in the midst of men because is the head of the woman, christ is the head of the congregation, God is the head of Christ.

Women today think God affairs is about gender debate, what they do at home they're taking it into the house of God. The authority of a woman is the man scripturally, I know some so called "civilized feminist" won't like to hear this. Please the house is not an avenue for you to debate about gender, go to the news media and seminars to do that. They claim to read the bible but when it comes to defending their claim scripturally they can't say anything, they're just ranting like they always do.
Note, this doesn't denote that God is partial, because I can almost smell your thoughts. There're authorities which are divine deviating from such as resulted in shattered homes or broken marriages, we also know some men are scumbags, but the scriptures also says the women should be submissive to them as their head, but there's also room for divorce only on the ground of adultery.
So many things in the scriptures that when painstakingly applied will help the home, congregation and society at large.
Well, it's not surprising today because so many churches hardly conform to bible standard, so this subject is just part of the tons of religious hypocrisy. No wonder Jesus Christ attributed the Pharisees with so many adjectives. Like "hypocrite, offsprings of vipers"

I think this is a good question.
Cuz the bible says women shud submit to their husbands and a woman's place is under the authority of a man.
I wonder if this is also applicable to the church.

It is a fact that no women was ordained as a priest or prophet in the bible but women were involved in evangelism and also ministered to men but they were Neva ordained.

I think biblicaly women are allowed to preach and minister but not lead as a General overseer or head of a congregation.

Please, what about Deborah in the Bible? She was what?
Re: Should Women Lead A Congregation Or A Church? by godunia(m): 9:59am On Aug 12, 2018
According to the Bible, the answer is No. 1 Timothy 3:1-13.This statement is trustworthy: If a man(not woman) is reaching out to be an overseer, he is desirous of a fine work. 2 The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in.... Go the Bible and complete it. Thank

You're 100% correct. No woman should pray while a man bow his head. It's disrespect for God's arrangement. The head of every woman is the man, the head of the church is Jesus, the head of Jesus is God Almighty.

Isn't Jesus supposed to be God almighty?

If anybody should be atheist and discard religion especially Abrahamic religions it should be women.
But na dem religious pass.

Also the Pauline epistles were written by Paul to address different issues raised at that time but people take these words literally and apply it to the present day 21st century which results in conflicting views.

What should a woman do with the gift of pastoring or teaching which the Holy Spirit gives to some? Can we stop Him from manifesting His gifts through any vessel He choses, can we stop women from receiving and manifesting the gifts of the Holy Spirit?

The Bible is clear on that...NO....no room for misinterpretation. ...but we are free to brush all that aside with wonderful explanations.... the same way we brush aside speaking in tongues without an interpreter. But in the end...we call ourselves Christians. ...Born Again Christians....born again indeed.
