Yes but buying USD is just for security of funds unless we will experience same awoff that happened last time, else gain on USD might not surpass 10% - 15%.
Not talking about buying USD o.
It could be equities, bond or real estate denominated in dollars, even (bitcoin).

Within 2 months Oando went from 100+ to 300 then from 300 to where it is today. Long term on NSE is dicey.. one year slf na buy and be ready to stay woke.

Buffet that won’t even take nestle for free.
We might not have any stock on the NSE that meet Buffet investment criteria.

Not sure.. With all these management issues in Nigeria.. so many banks started well but where are they now?
Sometimes it not about the stock it’s about the mindset of the people within and the country as a whole.

That is why I put it in bracket.

It all depends on the way you see it.

Let just look at this, someone that bought btc six year ago and the one that bought the best performing stock on the NSE within the same time frame of six years , who do you think would have come out better today. huh

MSCI- NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR 14 AUG 2018/GENERAL COMMENT

All the equities in the fund’s portfolio got the selling touch yesterday 14 August 2018. The bell has been ringing long enough, “time to slow down on buying equities”.

At this point, we need to caution ourselves, in the quest just to make any profit do not be tempted to fill your portfolio with “mom and pop” companies, they can be very unstable. If there are no good opportunities stay out!!! If you want to test this staying away from the market just check cumulatively how much you have lost in your portfolio (I did mine yesterday), it will amount to a tidy sum. Therefore, stop further buying till market improves. As long as you still visit the forum, you will know when this will happen.

I am not interested in putting any money in the market this moment.

Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling.

Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who is doubting the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.
