fighal:... This is an example of cultural problem we have in our country, the only way things are acceptable to us is when done our way. Hey guys. Following our successful visa interview, I want to inform the nairaland family that I and my siblings have finally touched down in chicago. We would be calling this place home for now. Im so happy to have fled nigeria grin grin Tips on how to survive the cold? Where to shop? etc would be welcome... the boded above is the introduction line from the op when he opened the thread,he has talked about things like... ...his personal and that of his family life. ...His many admirers he left behind back home. ...the erratic behaviors of his co workers. ...his work experiences/relationships with his clients. ...many highways and traffic rules. ...how many girls he's involved with. ...his present job versus his future job(s). ...his educational goals and career choice. ...vehicles and cost of maintenance. ...His choice of foods, hobbies and many more. Now,tell me how those things mentioned above related to you living in Nigeria?.what kind of important info that would affect your life do you expect to get from these stuffs?. I think you and your likes are the one derailing this thread with your selfish expectations and vetting all posts here is disrespectful to say the least because its obvious the thread was not created for you and your likes, you are just to observe and not to claim one stupid entitlement you don't merit. There are other threads that may appeal to your expectations especially the one below, you may follow the thread cos it seems the op was actually talking to folks like you in Nigeria. https://www.nairaland.com/4462513/life-abroad-worth-stress-hype |

fighal:Can't you see that these guys are frustrated. We want to see America through the eyes of a village boy not through an Americanised eye. That was the caption of this thread. Why is that so hard for these goons to understand. |

For peeps asking after Frank. The nigga needs to make money. It's not like here where we gat time to monitor post like spirit. When he gat gist, he'll come around. Allow other gurus guide us while he's busy. |

SirVintageCock:Why cant you see that you arent the only people on this thread. All we have heard from your task force for the past week is what YOU want. Why cant you tards understand that its not up to you decide how the thread is supposed to be. It is up to the OP. If you had a problem with the direction of the thread, you should have taken it straight to the OP and let him handle it. We've got bigger problems here to face. At least they had something interesting to say other than complaints and Derail Derail Derail. |

SkinnyNigga:Yeah, and Im tired of hearing from you crybabies claiming to speak for everyone in Nigeria on here for the past week. They are gone off the thread and you are still disturbing the peace just to have something to say. |

HypocriteNazi:How is that your business? We need a village eye account of America from Franknetter not from you lots oversabi buffoons |

Alright, everybody calm down...... I understand that a lot of followers of this thread ain't really happy about how the thread is turning out and it is understandable. On my own I also thought that each follower has a voice and can speak out whenever they feel uncomfortable with what is happening here, which a lot has done. I guess the whole problem is down to the tune some of us used while complaining and also to the tune some of us used while replying complaints. Frank hasn't been the only contributor to this thread, some naija based Americans has also contributed but the difference between theirs and these new guys is that they shared "EXPERIENCES" I feel is the focus of this thread. You guys were not sharing experiences, you were only arguing and we were lost in the process... NO PICTURES, NO PERSONAL STORY OF HOW YOU GOT THERE, NO DAY TO DAY UPDATE OF LIFE OVER THERE.... Make una try reason am na.... We no hate you guys or whatsoever, WE ARE ALL BROTHERS... Oya no more fighting...... MAKE UNA SHOW US PICTURES... Oya Babyvet how did u enter America ?To all those I av bad mouthed one way or the other, I'm sorry.... Let PEACE REIGN!!!!!!!! |

FrankNetter is not coming online anymore. He might be so busy with some other things. This thread will be dead soon if we ban other people from posting. My own idea is that America-based Nigerians should come online and tell us how they got there, show us pictures and gist us on their day to day activities. They shouldn't come here and argue about what we that are not there yet won't be able to put mouth. Trust me it's not so nice. Cc babyvet Nig4greatness |

Oh so now we are inviting the "oversabi" back because it is now becoming clear that Frank has other priorities. |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by roniex2(f): 4:01pm On Aug 17, 2018 |
HypocriteNazi:That's my opinion. How else do you want this thread to stay alive? If you live there you can share with us your story and day to day activities with pictures too. Otherwise I don't know what else we are meant to be doing here, waiting for FrankNetter to come around? |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by Nobody: 4:09pm On Aug 17, 2018 |
roniex2:Yes according to the Derailment and Oversabi taskforce. Im not in America and didnt mind the other content. I just don't like what has happened here especially the bullying of that backfornow person. The thing is Frank was always on leave days and weeks at a time, the reason that the thread survived was the extra content from others. |

HypocriteNazi:You don't get it man .. This ain't the first time this thread is left unattended to, and each time he comes back to update this thread the followers cheers and gives him some accolades. Frank has other priorities, same as those following this thread. The fuss ain't about updating the thread or not, it's about FOCUS.. You don't discuss movies in an abandoned sports thread because you want to keep it alive.. Think about it.. You are making it seem like people's lives depends on the thread, NO. A lot of persons here has other things more important than the thread... THIS THREAD IS SEEN AS A MIRROR, WHICH WHEN VIEWED COULD SHOW YANKEE FROM THE PERSPECTIVES OF A COMMON NIGERIAN... Understand this.... . Take The Russia thread for example, how often those the OP post? but checkout the engagement when He does... . One or 2 questions are allowed, but hijacking the thread?? Thats a no.. |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by Nobody: 4:58pm On Aug 17, 2018 |
fighal:No you dont get it. Like I said, you guys should have taken it to the OP instead of being crusaders about it. Or you couldve been more decent about how you went about it. That is all. Ranting for a whole week was unnecessary and you are just as guilty as the others, bc now what is the FOCUS of the thread. Im done with it. |
| Re: Yankee: through the eyes of a village boy. by Nig4Greatness: 5:20pm On Aug 17, 2018 |
fighal:.... This seems more like it.kudos!!.. To other unrepentant crybabies, there's no point canvassing for what you want to see here because most of us don't know what you guys have in mind but if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask and let others do justice to them.is there anything from the many posts here from the beginning of this thread that particularly attends to your expectations other than many pictures posted ??. If its picture you want to see,am sure others can do that as well. Let's just attend to one another with dignity and utmost respect. |
