That TSTV has disappointed many Nigerians is not in doubt. However, what is news is the explanation of the company’s management on what has been wrong with it so far and what they are doing to fix things. Next is an open letter to Nigerians by the MD/CEO of TSTV, Dr Bright Echefu:

Dear Nigerians,

I sincerely appreciate all your concerns and prayers for our darling TSTV. From the date we announced TSTV, it has been fight all the way. I doubt if a week passed without us quenching one fire or the other. We didn’t anticipate that there would be war. We were also not trained to fight in the arena we were pushed into. The kinds of weapons our enemies would later contend us with, showed they had stocked their armoury waiting for a time like now. We may not have their kind of money, neither their kinds of weapons, ”connections” and networks but one thing I sure know we had more than them was a determined spirit and a steadfast God. A God who doesn’t fail.

It has not been easy one bit. Our struggles drained us financially and pitched us against all good meaning Nigerians, subscribers and dealers that believed in us. We were wrestled even down to our satellite providers but our God is ever faithful.

Today 20th of August, 2018, I am happy to inform Nigerians that TSTV is back live and direct but this time under the watch of Abba Father. With our successful acquisition of FIVE units of 35.5MHz transponders last two weeks on Nigcomsat through our collaboration with Intertel, Federal Ministry of Communications and Nigcomsat, TSTV can now offer Nigerians the true meaning of video entertainment. Our TSTV has successfully migrated to Nigeria Communication Satellite. ALL CHANNELS in Full HD. No one does that. More channels are being added daily.

Guess what!!!, TSTV management in appreciation to EVERYONE have decided that 45 TSTV PREMIUM HD CHANNELS will be available for free for another one month as we don’t intend to encrypt the channels now. You can use any dish at all, including the ones you are using for other operators to track Nigcomsat today and lets enjoy premium entertainment together.

We are now a True Nigerian Brand and we all should support ours. Kindly monitor our progress by tracking your dish to 42.5oE, Frequency 12589, Symbol Rate: 30,000. Polarization: Horizontal

TSTV + NIGCOMSAT + GOD = Connecting your world

Well, its not so Bad after all, next time don't launch stuff without actually making sure all your "I"s and Ts are properly observed. I strongly believe the company will still make sales and I would give them a trial.

Meanwhile, esteemed first bank customers, y'all can now perform wonderful transactions on the first mobile app, please click the link on my signature for more details on how to register, thanks .

I am a Christian, but when one brings in God into politics and business then he is manipulative and stupid.

When you are planning a business, you should know that whoever was in business before you would not welcome you with open arms, more especially not one with a monopolist market. Tstv never did their homework, there were like a team with the money but not with the experience, not with the technical know how.

Just like APC, they would keep blaming everybody else except themselves and keep making unsubstantiated claims of being persecuted, keep making promises they can't keep.

tstv go get your acts together

TSTV we know your competition is Dstv. They have money, power, connections, and all other sorts to make life miserable for you.
I as a Nigerian would like you to enter the market and compete but you have to be prepared cus they wount give in easily. They gonna hit you in places you may not imagine and they gonna hit hard. We know this.

One of yours catch should be to air live football games. If u succeed at that, then the sky is your limit. Start initiating the processes for rights to air these games and when you succeed believe me Nigerians will patronise you. I will.

Due to lack of competition, the satellite tv market space is being controlled and dictated by multichoice without any consideration to its customers. Just like in telecoms, when there is competition, the services become better and cheaper and the beneficiaries are we the customers. I wish you all the best in this war cuz you may have won a battle you must prepare for another lurking not too far.

Good luck!

TSTV ,can anyone enter the house of a stronghold without first tethering and binding it,you people knew you would be breaking someone's back by surfacing with all those goody bags and you expect anything less of a real tussle??,so you people should complain less and set the past in flames,my people, let us not act like we are aliens to these things TSTV is experiencing,if you are into business, you know this, this is ours and believe you me all those foreign pay t.v might leave when things are bad in Nigeria but will TSTV leave??.............,whoever has bought it and is satisfied with their service should fail not to preach it,they use this platform to disseminate info. because they have faith in Nairaland.

I even thought he was going to end it with "In Jesus name". What i see here is desperation. Candidly, he should just focus on doing things right. Good product markets itself.

Nonsense. Tstv and ntel should marry themselves. They are not ready for business. They want to be using the same nicomsat that feed ntel, that has been unstable for weeks. When are serious and full in operation, it is not press release that will make the noise. It is the people testimonies.
That's why ijebu garri can never be put out of the market despite a treat from yellow garri....you know what I mean....that yellow south African garri cheesy

See this man talking about enemies instead of competitors.....Typical Nigerian

See him bringing God into the matter. Smh. Dem tell u say hitv no dey worship God before they were dragged under by intense competition? Yeye dey smell. You for say make Ur competitors provide you with enabling environment for u to flourish na so u can take over their market share. undecided
Maybe you should just be managing a church instead of a business organization
