Hmmm, after closely looking at the Xiaomi Pocophone I'll say it's the real deal from Xiaomi at the moment. Aside the absence of an Amoled screen it has all the bells & whistles of the Mi 8SE plus a modified MIUI for the right price.

Something tells me we're gradually getting closer to having an "App Drawer" button or gesture option. That's about the only thing I've missed with the default MIUI launcher.

Amoled is no biggie, metal back and u cover with another rubber case, undecided
As for sticking with ur rn5ai, that's fair enough. cool

Metal back comes as standard in all midrange & above devices.

Upon all the things added there You still want Amoled screen and Glass back all for less than $300, guy you harsh o undecided

You want Lei Jun to go bankrupt & relocate to his village abi grin

This launcher is really cool. I feel in the nearest future, poco would have a stand out UI, not a modified MIUI. That being said I love this version of MIUI more than the regular MIUI.

The launcher is very light and sleek.
I'm sure our crazy Indian developers will do something to Port the whole Poco ROM to other devices grin

Yeah, but it's expected. Other OEM skins are now featuring an option for users to activate it or not if they choose.

Yup, you can as well patronise any of our numerous resellers here.
There are 2 variants to the RN5 version that's available to us Nigerians though i.e Global version & Global rom. Both got similar hardware except the Global rom not supporting LTE band 20.
ahh na wa o. I thought global version and global rom were the same. For instance, a phone made in China that has global rom is functional in Nigeria. Isn't it? So which one now is global version and global rom? Abeg sorry but please explain
