The question made me remember the late 80s in Lagos where you innocently spread your cloth on d line and one Dem Mama for compound spread her family own beside yours and the next thing is for Mr Idun (Bug) to transfer into your cloth.

Rats are great trouble makers, I prefer them cos they though they are pathogenic, they are still easily contained compare to Mosquitoes. Mosquitoes can cause malaria easily and make one waste money on drugs.
When you keep your house clean and neat, you will hardly attract rats. Don't leave your food stuff open, keep them in metal or plastic containers and cover properly, you will hardly attract rats.
Always fumigate your house, keep your bedrooms neat and well ventilated, you will not see bed bugs around.

Mosquitoes: even tho these days insecticides seem not to kill mosquitoes, at least they weaken then and then u can sleep peacefully for that night, the next day you fleet the rooms again. Better still use sth strong like sniper in the room before going out in the morning, for 3days even fresh mosquitoes wey enter the room go die..

Rats: Very annoying and embarrassing, world don spoil sote rats now de dodge traps, they also avoid poisoned foods. But finally there are still ways of getting rid of them.. (Except ur backyard Na dungeon, then u just have to live with dem)..

Bedbugs Even trying to talk about dem is already making me nauseous. Very disgusting stuff. D bad thing is just 1 is enough to build an empire like someone said up there, n to kill dem ehn u need concentrated sniper or sth stronger.

OP didn't mention cockroaches, those tiny cockroaches are more annoying and disgusting than rats and mosquitoes.

Finally sha, all these are dependent on the cleanliness of ur immediate environment and especially that of ur rooms...

I detest dirtiness. Am a very neat person. So non is acceptable. Mosquito even with mosquito net can be completely avoided hence I do apply Snipper and related insecticides.

Mosquitoes wan wound me and my kids. We are allergic to insecticide and all have stuffy nose and throat after using even after staying out of the house for hours after flitting, We now use Odomos cream which is not convenient.

Which can be less annoying, the marauding spirits (rats) wreaking havocs or blood sucking demons (bugs and mosquitoes) spreading diseases? None!

I think rats know places they are not welcome and they stay away. There are many rats around my compound and in my neighbours room but not one in mine reason: the moment I sight a single rat, I leave everything I'm doing, go into a protracted hunt and kill the pest in a MANUAL and most brutal way. I think the other around usually get the message and stay away afterwards.

Once you hav bed net, mosquitoes get frustrated and cant do anything to you. As for bed bugs, though not experienced it yet, people's experience narrative here scares the s**t outta me.

Bedbugs very hard to control. Worst some hotels have bedbugs on their beds. Had a terrible experience despite the high cost of lodging couldn't sleep in a hotel at ojodu due to bedbugs

I once travelled from Lagos to Abuja. Arrived Abuja late and had to sleep in the park till morning. When I got to the house I observed that my clothes and bag were filled with bugs. But luckily enough I don't know why they could not survive in my house. They all dried up and died one by one.

Determined Belgian rats can team up to eat down the entire property you spent 5 years acquiring in just 2 weeks.
Mosquitoes can sing you a lullaby for free while dancing on your body and you already know how painful their feet can be.
Bedbugs, what do I even have to say about those ones sef, they can suck you into a state of unconciousness thereby reducing your blood drastically from 20 ltrs to 3 ltrs in mini seconds.
So with these few points of mine I hope I have been able to convince and not to confuse you that mosquitoes are better buddies to have around than rats and bedbugs. Wearing a trouser, socks, long sleeve hoodie, mitten/pair of gloves and face mask will render their ministry useless or you simply go for the option of treated nets or insecticides.

Is it only me? Cuz I haven't experienced what it is like to be bitten by a bed bug. I don't like ants either, they piss me off. And as for rats, just block inlets and outlets where they pass through let none come in or move out then you are good to go. The rest will just die of hunger.
