chisco82:OK, you want others to call for it and invite you? What stopped you from convening the restructuring meeting and inviting others? |

phase1:Stop tagging the SS along because they had moved on while the SE is still angry after the loss. Hope you know that the SS(Wike, Secondus etc) and the north now controls PDP. SS(Oshio etc), SW and the north control the APC. Which does the SE control? |

ObaIgwe1:You don't deserve my attention cos you sound politically naive. Igbos have been associating with other tribes since independence but will not associate with a terrorist. For your information Igbos have had more productive political relationships with the North more than the south West have had or are having with the North. You ate talking about figures. Let me inform you that for evey 1 million registered voters in Lagos for instance, Igbos have over 400, 000. Igbos are in State Houses of Assembly in Kano and other non Igbo states. We will rule your family if we have democrats in power who obey simple human rights. Hope you are happy suffering and you have a lot of hungry mouths to feed. Igbos are proud not to associate with a nepotic leader like Buhari. Even at death he will be ruling you from the grave. |

I don't agree with the OP that Igbos must join an alliance with an agenda they feel doesn't represent their best interests, just because they desire power. Politics should be more principled than that and there is a place for opposition politics. Where I might agree is the sheer volume of hatred the Igbo race has spewed over the last 3 years has alienated the North and South West which are the most powerful political blocs in the country. We can win no elections without a rock-solid alliance with at least 2 other regions of the country. It's hard to imagine the average Northerner casting a vote for an Igbo man. Infact, except Igbos run on BOTH the APC and PDP tickets for Presidency, I don't see an Igbo man surmounting the consequences of the Igbo-driven hatred of the last few years. Since Buhari won the election, we've gone stark, raving mad culminating in the Kanu-led IPOB craziness we saw. Not even Ijaw people whose son lost the 2015 election, or the Niger Delta people were half as aggrieved as Igbos. We went absolutely mad and went too far and we'll reap the consequences in the political wilderness of this rhetoric in the coming years. Which is a shame considering the disaster that this Presidency has been. It needed cooler heads to dissect all the failures of this APC-led government, rather than raving lunatics that only inspired cult-like devotion of Buhari supporters. |

We are matching forward with or without igbo presidency. And pls answer my questions up thre... What has northern presidency given to the north that will maake them better than the south/ east? |

Yyeske:It's this simple: A true federation, a country made up of true federating units, voluntarily and happily contributing to the union, growing at their own pace, and enjoying the benefits of the mutual union. This is as opposed to the present situation, which enthrones one overlord above all members of the union, who then takes decisions binding on all of them, irrespective of how it affects them. This present union only sees the all the units fighting for air and for a chance at the plum, instead of growing the plums in their respective zones. As a people with a strong attachment to their way of life, but able and willing to live with others, a people for whom Unity is not an elusive el Dorado, but a real prize to aspire to, we cannot join this fray. We need to chart a progressive course. And for this, we cannot pretend that all is well. We are being honest about it as a people, and we are telling the whole world: "We want a restructured federation. We do not want a President like Buhari, not because he is Hausa/Fulani or Muslim (heck, we gave his brother Yaradua full support), but because he is divisive. Let us restructure the federation and get a detribalized Nigerian to navigate us through the straits." That is what Ndigbo want. |

Myjanuzaj:This Afonja is as confused as a buffo-n. I can never be ashamed of hating much more anyone that hates me just because I am who God created me to be, Igbo. How better has it made me? We are faring better that you lots as it has been from the beginning, as it is now and ever shall be till the end of time; because I am IGBO. |

Yyeske:Igbos don't hate other tribes. But we hate terrorists and nepotic leaders. We are not regretting not supporting Buhari in 2015 and will not support him in 2019. Ignos jave had more productive political relationship with the North than any other tribe. You do not need to hear me. A good leader respects basic human rights. How do you associate with a hypocrite who has no certificate and claims to have one; who will not investigate his Finance Minister accused of forgery but will threaten to jail corrupt Nigerians? You people don't understand the joy of standing with the truth. Nigeria is in deep shit |

Ndiara, the middle belt that showed their unalloyed support for this fool in 2015, what are they getting in return? Anybody that says the truth about this bloodthirsty fool and administration is termed IPOB I should close my eyes and support a bloodthirsty ethnocentric Jihadist so that Igbo's will become the next president, you can as well ask us to support Abubakar Shekau tomorrow if the north decides to field him so that after him Igbo's will become president President Yaradua is from the same place with this cannibal, why wasn't he hated this much? The fool that is occupying that stupid seat will still win in 2019 with or without our support becos he has millions of almajiri foot soldiers (useless population with no ambition) up north who are willing to vote him massively and even kill to reinstall him in 2019 And why should this topic even be of concern to anybody who is not Igbo? Why drinking paracetamol when someone else has the headache? I don't understand? |

Mordecai:I love the reply but don't you think we need to get into mainstream national politics to achieve this, I mean a level of power where we can influence others to agreeing with us so as to achieve our aim? Do you think we can go it all alone? Think about it |

I've told my Ibo friends. They should vote wisely. Forget all the hate they're spewing about PMB. In fact, forget PMB... APC is the way to go. Politics is a game of numbers, anywhere, anytime. Be WISE! |

Yyeske:Lol! It was the main agenda of the last igbo sumit bro and the south east/south south sumit. You see that is why i somehow support IPOB, they saw everything that Nigeria contitution, structure does not favour the south east so even if Ekweremadu raise the motion on the senate both south east and south south senators can not gather the votes to for it to be look into, so the northern senetors will kill the motion immidiatly with their population. So forget that. |

Yyeske:Get into mainstream politics mean what? And you think nepotic leaders like Buhari will give an ear to you. They will use you and dump you. The greatest mistake they made in 2019 is to handover to OBJ You think They will do it again? Just watch and see. I pity the Tinubus and Osibanjo. |

| Re: "The Truth About Igbo Presidency: Senator Saraki Playing On Our Intelligence" by Mordecai(m): 7:40pm On Aug 25, 2018 |
Yyeske:We cannot go it all alone. We know that. We just also know that apart from our travelling companions, we also have to be on the right road, heading in the right direction. We are trying to point the way. We may have been going about it all wrong, but we know that the road we are on is the wrong one. And if we can get one, and I emphasize, just one detribalized President, who is not interested in grabbing power for his own people, he would listen and acknowledge our opinions. When we are on the right direction, hold us responsible for our fate if we continue playing tribal politics, because then we would be left behind in terms of the indices that really matter - development, economic growth, standard of living, mortality rate, healthcare etc, and not on the present standards of "Which tribe holds more positions in government". |

positivethought:Seems you don’t understand the meaning of democracy! Even Buhari cannot be that naive to make such pronunciation without a huge backlash. It’s the igbos that have to ensure that parties field them and if you didn’t get it in 16 years under PDP with all your loyalty and efforts, I wonder why you think Buhari or APC will hand over the ticket to you with all your antagonistic stand against thr parry using all sort of covert and overt moves to destabilize the government. |
| Re: "The Truth About Igbo Presidency: Senator Saraki Playing On Our Intelligence" by Mordecai(m): 7:47pm On Aug 25, 2018 |
Yyeske:You just hit the nail on the head. The fact that Ekweremadu is not really doing anything about it, justifies our stance that Igbo presidency is not what we want. We do not want a particular person in power because he is Igbo, or not. |
