Please guru kindly help me out, this is like 10 days but my brother who has sent invitation Letter for my family visit said he has not been called for confirmation. The last time I was refused he was called. This time I used a cover letter to answer all the points raised for my refusals in my last refusal.

Please is it compulsory they usually call the sponsor in uk. This time around he sent his statement of acc and other things but am scared because I did not answer that question that has to do with how much do you think us the cost to you. I just put 1800GBP my salary na 255k with my pay slip attached two statement if acc.My joint acc and salary savings acc totalling 1.2m God help me..although I also explained that commissions and other income will come into the acc in form of cash. I also told the eco that it will be grossly unfair to deny me entry visa base on my bank statement with shows no evidence of income with cash.

Hello house, I need help please.
I want to apply for UK visa this month (14-day stay).
I'm taking a short course at London School of Communication and Finance in November. Course lasts 8days.

I currently earn a gross of 320k in an international organization...
I have been denied US visa thrice...but applying for UK for the first time.

I have a side business I'm trying to position...before I hand over to a brand manager...the course is related to the business..

What do I need. I'm sponsoring myself.

How do I go about applying, please?. Thanks

Try read some of the old post so you dont make mistakes ànd also Google the required documents to enable you know what to do. UK do not use your gross salary but your net salary as shown in your pay slip and account statement.Goodluck.

1) DO not make reservation with initial deposit yet o. Do one that has free cancellation. You can do this in booking.com
2) it's normal if your location shows you are in Nigeria or you changed the currency to Naira
3)Do free cancellation. Don't do initial deposit
4)Yes you can. Even for free cancellation, note that they need your card details but you won't be charged.

Good morning great people in this forum. My name is Precious and i am new here. Please read my write up and i need your advice. I studied in the UK and came back to Nigeria in 2016. I applied for a work visa to the UK in January 2018 but it was refused based on the fact that the ECO said I didn't tell them all my duties when I was interviewed on the telephone. During the telephone interview i was asked if i have any family in the UK and i mentioned one of my step-brothers whom i know lives in the UK. But in June 2018, i met one of my step-brothers we have lost contact over 12 years now at a shopping mall in Lagos and he told me he is now based in the UK with his family and have become British citizens. He said He has been in the UK for almost 10 years now. He told me he would love to invite/host me in the UK whenever I am on leave. My question is this : When I was interviewed on the telephone During the work visa application and was asked if i have any family in the UK I didn't mention his name but only mentioned one of my step-brothers I know is in the UK. Now my step-brother I didn't mention want to invite me now, won't the home office count it as not disclosing a material fact when I was interviewed for the work visa because I didn't mention his name?

Not advisable though but if you want to give it a try, You must be the owner of the company, must provide every documents showing ur the owner of the company , and a letter from your company confirming you as the sole owner and that the company shall be responsible for every cost of ur trip as agreed at the board meeting dated bla bla bla, duly signed by the companys secretary.

Try booking.com, choose the hotel that has free cancellation... even if you make a deposit , it doesnt guarantee visa and your deposit wont be refunded . So make ur choice .

To make your life easy, use www.booking.com. Most reservations are free but they will hold your card details. Again, read the terms to know when you can cancel for free. You can always change currency to your locality so it's normal to see in Naira as the sites use your ip addr to know where you are from and currency.

addendum: I just saw your reply where you said you don't know how to search Type the area you are going: Leicester, London, Birmingham on the search space and you will see many options

Dont fret. They dont call all the time. I once applied for my Dad, I was called by the visa officer to confirm that I am inviting him. He was refused the visa though because of some few documents that I did not include in his application (I am wiser now though and will apply again later).

But when I applied for my mum few months back, she was granted the visa (after the second attempt) without any phone call to me from them.

Don't panic. They don't bother calling if you are using the same sponsor. I got my visa on second attempt without a call to my sponsor.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MT: 6:31pm On Sep 10, 2018
It was visitor's visa. From my own experience, individual cases differ and there can never be a generalistic way of approaching it. Before you submit, study what you intend to do critically, build a convincing logic around it. Think it through and through. Play the Devil's advocate on your application. By default, you will be surprised that the kind of documents you need will start appearing. Forget about the documents some people submitted to get their visas. Tailor the documents to your own application. You will be surprised that out of the 4 applications, 3 did not even submit ANY bank statement, still they got the visas. That is my two cent!.

Application submitted on 17th August, 2018. The visas were issued on the 30th August, 2018, Notice of pick up was Friday, 7th September, 2018, Passport was picked up on Monday, 10th September, 2018. Note that we have 2 weekends (4days) in between and Ileya holiday (2 days). So those represent the non working days.

Please do not lose hope and do not read any negative meaning to the delay. Try and occupy your mind with some activities and when they are ready they will get back to you. Do not doubt yourself. It will all end in praise.

No. You need a Schengen visa to visit Schengen countries if you carry a Nigerian passport.

Please for someone visiting the UK and plans to go to France for a couple of days before returning back to the UK and eventually back home to Nigeria, which flight itinerary will I submit since I'm flying straight to the UK and back from UK?

Hello house, I hope we all are having fine day? I'd really appreciate your advice on my situation.
I applied for a visitors visa for a conference in Feb.
I stated in my application that I'd be spending 8 days and was granted the usual 6 months MULTI. I however decided to travel earlier than initially stated in my itinerary in my application. I actually travelled 3 weeks earlier, attended the conference and then returned making my total stay 4 weeks. The Visa was valid for another 4 months after my return so I didn't overstay my visa.

Now I want to travel again in Nov to write an exam and want to apply for another visa. I'm worried that the fact that I spent more days than I stated in my previous application is likely to affect my chances in this new application or maybe even result in a ban. Is there any thing I can do to better my chances?

Oga, nothing to worry about. You did not overstay. The date you stated in your form while applying was PROPOSED. It can change. You did not overstay, that's all that matters. You are good to go. I have had that experience multiple times. Nothing to worry about!.

Pls I apply for visitors visa on June 21st. Had my biometrics at Ikeja office. Up until now I haven't gotten my passport back. Have called and mailed them. They keep saying 15 working days. It's getting really frustrating. I need my passport as I intend to travel by this month end.
Please what can I do?
Anyone in similar situation please? Please help a sister.
Thank you all.
