Thanks for getting back to the house as promised, thumbs up!

Sorry about the refusal dear brother, this one pained me though. This is actually about your ties.... One of the relaxed ways students can get a US B1/B2 visa is to have had a reasonable travel experience, to be studying some professional course, your school too if part of the A-Class Unis in Naija is an advantage especially the ones paying "expensive" fees, etc.

At your level of ties currently and in relation to your kind of application, your parents counts oh. This your application smells "I want to disappear" a lot. I'm genuinely calculating what indicates this young man will come back home from your situation according to your application, I'm not seeing it at my level. Then, how about a VO? Previous travels and a more compelling travel purpose may have helped you. If I were the one asked your purpose of travel, I would have put visiting my uncle in front first before other things not the other way round like you did from your transcript.

Like I said back then, "e hard die for Nigerian university student without traceable 'ajebutter' background and better travel history to get that visa". I even think so stronger than before putting current stricter situations at the embassy into consideration.

I will conclude by asking again, what exactly is strong enough to bring you back to Naija as things are in the country now?

Koyo ovbioba! Obhiaba, egbe fuere.... Abi no be so dem dey talk am for Edo that year? Una people favor me, I pray make e better for you too.... Pele well well!
please can you share more, how do good travel history boost your chances of getting your F-1 visa, for Nigeria students, like which countries can you suggest, thanks

One, applied is past tense. Two, I said Banker + New York + New destination = Red Flag. Why you come dey attack me on the banker which is just a singular component of the equation? tongue

Lets be sincere, Bankers have no job security. That went out the window a while ago. Many of them have taken matters in their hands and decided not to return after visiting the US.
Wise words.
I have been amazed at the way bankers have run eh.

Hello LadyG n some others in the house that give advice regarding visiting issues, please i cancelled my embassy appointment last year due to d fact that my F1 sponsor has financial constraint, so am planning to use it for tourist b4 it get expire,my concern is that i had a change of job far better than the one am doing as at the time i filed the form
1. should i put my current job while filling new Ds160, because the salary is now 6digit,
2. my wife DOB is wrong i want to correct it
3. can i edit the former Ds160 or i should fill another
4.if i fill another wont that be misrepresentation when comparing my old Ds160 with the new one since they have access to both the previous n the new
NOTE i did not lie in my previous application o
PLS GUIDE ME.

LadyGuinivere:

This practice of posting imagined transcripts is truly annoying and has the end point of confusing people that are here to read and learn. The time you used to type all that could have been applied to research.

Read the actual transcripts. And for the umpteenth time, no one knows your chances.

Please can we kindly actually stick to the rules? Post real and actual transcripts.

Agent Azuh how market? E Don Tay u call my name. I have missed your mentions... tongue

Hello Fam,
I have my elder brothers toddler living with me at the moment and I am also catering to her cos my brother lost his wife while birthing their third..so I took one of his toddlers in to reduce e cost and stress for him until he bounces back from the grief.
Now I want to go on vacation with my husband and toddler..does it pose a problem if I apply with my brothers toddler as I also want to take her along with me on this vacation
Thanks for Your prompt and fav response

Good Day People. My family (wife and children) have visa interview appointment at the us embassy.
The period of vacation while filling Ds 160 was August 15 - September. We have submitted the form, made payment before we realize we could not get a date before August. Their interview date is this September. Hope it will not affect their chances at the interview level. Please advise.

Its still 50/50 (as usual u knw those pple are very unpredictable) but let her go to the interview with your own passport to show u have a valid visa and u went and returned bak home truly. your children are very good ties to show u guys are comin bak for real.... Bast of luck in her interview.

If the child lives with you, you are kinda his guardian and ordinarily can travel with him with his /her father's consent.
But Nne, these days no one can say zilch cos there's no rhyme or rhythm again

While we are laughing let us remember that some here have suggested in the past that Abuja was more favorable in granting visas. Now that there's a new trend, a few have suggested Lagos to be more favorable.

Abuja confirm. Why? "Talk and follow " juju they catch them if you go through correct babalawo/dibia/Alfa or medicine man whey sabi work.

But Lagos juju no dey catch those VOs .be like say them get strong baba whey dey on contract with embassy ( amadioha and ogun lakaye whey dey chop dollar) whey they give them correct black soap to use baff
