The fact is that my brother Chibuking ( the chief advocate of bear bear bear......) does not want to hear or see anything positive about the market for now except bear bear.... even making me to be more sick. To think that I am afraid of login in to my account for sometimes now due to fact the everywhere is red, only to come here instead of getting encouraging words like, soonest the market will start picking up, the only thing you will hear is "Hmmmmmm, if you think that this market will be pick up until 2020, you are dreaming thank" OLuwa" that I was able to Jaaaaaaaa before this time, those of you still in the market what are you still waiting for sell your all shares at a huge loose now, go to your village and rest, after borrow money from your village people come back after 2020 by then "BUBU" would have hand over baba CHIBUKING,. and will be to able get "Zenith" at buy 10 units and and get 50 units" free and buy 20 units of GTB and 10 units free , my question is why much emphasis on Zenith and GTB? Na only them waka come?

Thank you my dearest friend Yariya for making stand strong, I will learn to put smile on my face and behave as if nothing happened and keep watching to see where all these prophesy of bear will lead us.

Shalom!

My brother, dont think anyone is an advocate of bear. the probability that those stocks will get to those prices latest by Feb. is 1! and its for the good of smart retail investors, u inclusive. is it not better for u to just watch the market as it cascades to those prices and then cherry pick sound stockshuh i picked FBNH @ 3.02 around August 2016, sold all Jan dis year @ 13+. so, y will i not wait for it again at 3? Bros, we are waiting o, no tempting to buy now at all till Jan. if u like keep trading for small small gains now, at least brokers must chop na.

I dont think so sir. The volume been daily traded so far did not justify it.
Someone once said that if all stocks are going south and only one or two are going north, its just a matter of time before they join the rest. I may be wrong sha. smiley

It may be harsh but I need to state the obvious. I think there is a thin line between advise and mocking people. Some bought stocks at higher prices, others bought recently and some other's would buy lower. But in all I think one thing I have seen over the weeks is the silent mockery at others that bought at presumed higher prices.

Funny thing is that is not a Nairaland thing, Its a Nigerian mentality. Under the guise of my neighbor's keeper, you rejoice in their grief. People invested their hard earned money to invest in some of this stocks, the best you can do is wait and time the market so you can buy at a lower price which is good for you. But coming on the forum and quoting too many unimaginable prices would drive away people from here.

Too much of everything is bad. Stock market Nigeria days, bear period is usually time to analyse numbers and argue based on results, not what I see here today.

For now it is just working fine, done 2 round trips already. And like I said if it breaks 1.05 then ready to average down. This is one of the lowest multiples ever for transcorp in years. Won’t be waiting for a 70k that might never come......
The bolded doesn't always follow repeatedly like that (based on observation) ......but I like the fact that you put a clause in the 2nd bolded sha.

Sir/Ma, while I understand your angle, I think it's just better to take some comments lightly and also find a way to pick important points from it. Money woman mentioned not listening to market noise; if you are sure of the strategy you are using, I think there should not be any cause for alarm.
However, I observed that you are overly optimistic, which to me still falls within the 'too much of everything' you mentioned. Understand that some people rely on info here sometimes and may be misguided by those comments of yours too, thereby losing money should the stock you hyped shed price instead, especially this bearish period.
I see no harm in warning people about buying at higher prices cos any investor's aim is to make profit.
Just my humble opinion sha.

Maybe I should clarify myself. I bought Diamond bank at an average price of N1.22 while doing this I wanted to also buy Zenith at a comfortable price so I can hold long term. When I saw Zenith below N20 i felt it was time to buy which I did without looking back. I have been in the Nigerian stockmarket for too long, so I paid my dues. What I'm saying is that it would be wrong of me to put others in pressure by quoting too many prices like Zenith would hit 18, 15, 10, or 8 Naira.

I just waited for price to approach my range and I entered. Fxuser and some others would just tell you what the chat says and that is it. He could tell you price could break lower so wait to buy and you see the chart . But posting all sorts of prices without even a chart to back it up is gambling. Forex traders would know better. When you say a currency would fall to a certain price, you either have your chart to back it or remain silent, cos you are just gambling. So if you say a stock would hit N5 show me chart or proof else....

Oga, you care for some late night happy hour tomorrow at 7:30pm?

What is said here does not stop the market from going up or down, just do your thing. If you are trapped, you only lose when you sell. All of us are gamblers na, even Warren Buffet.

Next time, don't just have price range and then start loading once price gets there, check the mood of the market. There is still 4 months before elections, the activities of foreigners have materially reduced, your dummy PFA PMs are sitting and watching until the market charges up strongly before they start buying...

Please where is Pa Emma?

Thanks a lot.

I really pity one man here who should have learnt from what just happened to him, that's not good
to rejoice in another man's pains or blame him so much for his mistakes. Why should a man keep
spending his days after days talking arrogantly, and has ended chasing out those that used to discuss
good stocks with sound numbers that one should possibly buy at the right time.

I wonder how the market will be to him if there was no buying and selling at all for one month.
