Did you pay for priority or its just a regular application.

K4daniel:

I am still surprise of how they did my application before 14days instead of 15days standard time, because I did biometric on 28th of August and yesterday 14th I was sent an email to come pick up it up.Although I filed the time of travelling for 14th Sept. Could that be the reason for rushing my application or they just rush it and assumed I didn't get it.I am really worried because I tried my best this time to give d best doc and promotion at work with good salary and travelling experience, answered all reason I was rejected.Plus the fact that my brother in UK was not contacted before.I just wish it ends in praise when I pick up.. or else I go vex..lol
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Nsiehi: 8:55am On Sep 15, 2018
Oh this sounds really good. Please how soon did you apply after your refusal...Thanks for ur previous reply. And how did you book ur flight, do u think its safe to book a flight before applying for a visa?
[/quote]

I reapplied 2 months after the initial refusal. No, you do not need to book a flight for the sake of visa application as this has no bearing on the outcome of one's application. The figures I gave above are a breakdown of a proposed expenditure for your level of disposable income, which should be stated clearly on a cover letter. If he is going to reapply soon, he must address all the issues raised in the refusal letter. Get a new statement of account, neatly asterisk all the inflows and outflows and tender explanations for these.

I wouldn't advise you to use a sponsor.

It happens very well. In fact, this is the first time my application passes 15 working days. All past applications were less than 15 days even without priority.

Nothing to worry about.

Hello guys. You guys have been doing a nice job here.

I have an issue I need help with. I was refused a visitors visa early this year and later reapplied and got the visa to UK. Travelled and came back.

However, I now applied for Visa recently, a Tier 2 Visa and mistakenly ticked NO to the question: Have you ever been denied Visa. It was js an oversight, just realized I didnt see the question well when applying online

I have done biometrics and all. Please how has had experience concerning this scenario. I heard about the ban but does it apply for someone who has gone to the UK and back. Please what is the next step to folllow too

I hope it ends well.
But that the mistake that cause me visa refusal dis week. I was denied Uk visa in Jan 2014 and re apply immediately and I was given which I eventually travel and can back in 2momths.
Fast forward to August 17 2918 I did my Biometric and I answered NO to lyk yours question and I pick up yesterday I was denied.
The ECO quote and said I was denied in 2014 with details and reference number, dat becus of that he's refused to grant me visa.

Good morning great people in this forum. My name is Precious and i am new here. Please read my write up and i need your advice. I studied in the UK and came back to Nigeria in 2016. I applied for a work visa to the UK in January 2018 but it was refused based on the fact that the ECO said I didn't tell them all my duties when I was interviewed on the telephone. During the telephone interview i was asked if i have any family in the UK and i mentioned one of my step-brothers whom i know lives in the UK. But in June 2018, i met one of my step-brothers we have lost contact over 12 years now at a shopping mall in Lagos and he told me he is now based in the UK with his family and have become British citizens. He said He has been in the UK for almost 10 years now. He told me he would love to invite/host me in the UK whenever I am on leave. My question is this : When I was interviewed on the telephone During the work visa application and was asked if i have any family in the UK I didn't mention his name but only mentioned one of my step-brothers I know is in the UK. Now my step-brother I didn't mention want to invite me now, won't the home office count it as not disclosing a material fact when I was interviewed for the work visa because I didn't mention his name?

Justwise please help me answer my question. Thanks.

Yes because you were asked specifically if you have anyone in the U.K and you did not include his name, the excuse you gave here unfortunately it's very common and the ECO have heard the same excuse too many times thing before, whether yours will be believed is anybody's guess.

Good day guys, please i have a question .

My parents are living in London And they are
citizens together with my sisters, I applied for visa yearsback but I was denied because my parents were not citizens then,
Now I applied this year and submitted the required documents early August, my dad told me that he received a call from the UK embassy to pay for my hospital bill In London, but he is still not certain that my visa will be approved.

My question is,

1. where will my visa be approved (or denied) is it in the embassy in UK or the one in Nigeria.

2.will I still be called for interview , since my dad got a call from the embassy in UK to pay my hospital bills.

3. What are my chances of getting a visa.

Thanks , and sorry for the long write up.

Question 1&3 doesn’t matter at all because nobody here has an accurate answer to it.

Yes it’s possible to call you for an interview.

Since this is settlement visa it will depend on documents you submitted

Hi good morning all,

I am married with a kid. My husband did his masters in Uk and also got his post study visa afterwards. I joined him at one time and we returned to Nigeria before it expired.
4 years later we want to visit the Uk. He has a cousin married with 5 kids leaving there and my kid and I will like to spend the Christmas with them.
I run my own firm for 2 years now and sincerely haven’t started working on my tax certificate. I have savings of about 2m. I run a company account but my personal current account were sometimes used for operations especially if it’s same bank.
My husband runs a contract agreement with a firm so he isn’t paid monthly but based on clientele and at the end of financial year, a certain amount is paid.
I am sponsoring the trip.

I haven’t been consistent in paying myself monthly.

My questions are
Should I fill not applicable in where they asked for monthly salary as I haven’t been sending a regular amount to myself.

Since my husband has history in the uk should he apply with us. Even though he is not going with us. Also won’t this make our budget higher

Our accommodation and feeding is sorted so what will my budget look like.

What documents can I present from his cousin
What documents can I present.

What’s the success rate if I apply for just myself and kid rather than he applies for 3 of us. His account statement may not cover us but he is also a director in my business I run.

Lastly i do not have my tax clearance. How does this affect.

Pls pardon the long write up.

Thank you.

I mistakenly answered "yes" instead of "no" to the question "Is your wife traveling to the UK with you?" In my last application.

I just printed that page from my form, cancelled yes nd wrote no and made a small comment that it was a mistake, and put it as part of my supporting documentation.

I got the visa.

You could have done this if you had known before doing your biometrics.
