He/she is probably unaware that Notherners are the most fearful of serving in the East. They are very aware of political tensions around and they know what's up with the two regions. Meanwhile, westerners don't find ut difficult to cope in the east. Forget all the online rantings.i still prefer the east (after my home) to the

I served in Anambra State 17years ago and I did not come across any hostile local. I was opportuned to travel to other local government areas due to the nature of my job during NYSC and never felt threatened. Most times people don't have the right information and conclude easily just to put fear in the minds of others.

I grew up in the south west and had my primary to tertiary education in the south west. I believed I was going to serve in Lagos and when I saw my posting to Anambra state I made up my mind to apply for relocation since I have never been to the east before. All that changed when I got to Umunya and I completed my service year at Awka.

I have changed jobs intermittently and in my last two jobs I always got transferred to the East and I am still here at Enugu living my life peacefully without any hassles.

We only cause problems for one another when we attack our tribes. Our characters defines us at the long run.
