I don't have pressure pot so no idea.

For the other question I read somewhere that vomiting is also a way the body is preparing for labour. Make sure you stay hydrated by drinking lots of water.

Team January, am I alone? Lower backache, swollen feet, constipation/purging (depending on the mood of my stomach), heartburn and sweating.

Please someone should tell me how to keep my feet up in the office so they don't get so swollen by the end of the day.

Mama please how is the swelling? I'm wondering if it isn't too early for your feet to swell. Have you started antenatal? I would have suggested you get your urine and BP checked to be sure it's just normal swelling.

Don't mean to scare you, but just to be safe. You can even check in with any hospital and ask for these tests without necessarily registering for antenatal. In the meantime, try walking about every hour or two if your work demands sitting down often.

Mamas please what are our local foods and fruits that are not good for pregnant women?


At first I thought that one can eat anything that her body can tolerate but coming here, I learnt that pineapple(my fav) is on DON'T list. Now I saw a post about a mama that is due to be drinking sobo (I substituted coke & Fanta for my sobo with enough ginger) and dates.

So my question, should I add sobo to my DON'T list?
What other local foods and fruit are in that category?

Nne ur pregnancy is still fragile now. For me I don't take any other drug expect folic acid at this early stage.
I manage my sickness with drinking enough water and fruits.
