Hang in there sis don't lose hope. God in his infinite mercy is on ur case and the plansif the enemy will not succeed. He is the make and restorer of life, he will not let u down. Pls run another scan tomorrow.

Just like that?? Oh no! this cant be happening. I pray its a mistake from the sonographer, go for another scan. I believe God will show himself, there shall be no loss. I begin to speak life into that baby, we believe in the report of God Almighty because he alone has the final say. We pray for goodnews in Jesus name.

No not here, no bad news and not after waiting for 8 years? God cannot lie, no loss! There shall be none barren nor cast their young, I speak life into your baby, mercy mercy mercy Lord......
Just have faith and go somewhere reputable for another scan mama, your joy shall not be cut short in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Doing my prayers now, God is in control.

I went to scan yesterday and i was told the weight of the baby is 2.2kg at 35 weeks, please what can i do to increase the weight? What food should i be eating?

Please treat as urgent, dont ignore.

If it's genetics.... there's nothing you can do! Baby will sure bulk up before you get to full term. However a diet rich in proteins will give your baby a boost at this stage.

Baby's weight is okay @35weeks, by 38 weeks, he would have added More weight okay for birth. If you want a big baby then maybe you eat more. But remember the bigger the baby, the higher the risk of episiotomy.

I also experience same at 38week mama. Meanwhile I'm an advocate for consulting with your dr before using anything.
Sometimes heartburn persist coz of the need to vomit; I get relief at times when I puke. But if you really want to use it;

Modified: as mama lifted.hands said; try taking warm milk with honey (it works for me at times); drink lots of water. And of course using pillow to prop up your head; can't even remember the last I slept with propping up my head and back.

Mama your baby's weight is ok, at 35 weeks the weight shld be between 2.2-2.4kg, so relax but you can still up your protein intake if you want, Have a lot of proteins like eggs, chicken, beans etc it helps with the growth of the baby and always sleep on your left side so that the baby receives maximum nutrients from the placenta. Have at least 3 litres of water everyday.

Other mamas have spoken dear. I believe you are calm now. Some people even give birth to their baby weighing exactly 2.3kg (especially twins) and in few days time they blow up.
Your baby is growing just fine.

Good morning mamas! Hmm.... Allah gives and Allah takes! Am hurting sisters, am really hurting but who am I to say no when God has decreed a thing.

I went for a second opinion and truly my baby is no more. IUFD(intra uterine fetal death) according to the two scans. Remember when I was 6weeks n went for scan, they said d fetus is sharing same space with a submucous myoma,apparently the fibroid grew big and kind of suffocated the fetus.

Alhamdulillah for the experience,after 8yrs of trying I was able to carry a child in my womb for 19weeks, I know am not barren and this just proves it.

Greater things ahead for me, will look into how to get rid of this fibroid then I will try again, I won't give up. I need all d prayers I can get from u all as I go for evacuation.

I love u all and wish my lovely team mates and all wonderful mama safe delivery. N one will suffer any loss inshaAllah. It's well with u all. kiss
