It is frustrating seriously. Last message I ever received frm cic was on the third of July for my biometrics which I have done but no confirmation email was sent. Ever since then, nothing and it is annoying not knowing what is happening.

I got a mail to pick up my passport and I did not do upfront medical so I just guess it's a rejection. Please gurus in the house help me cus I want to apply for gcms note and reapply.

study leave/letter of introduction from employer and letter of employment (I am not on salary but handles my own personal matter and official matter)

My sister is my sponsor and she stays in America. She sent the following
her payslip/work id /bank statement for salary
Fixed bank statement showing $80k
her American passport showing she is a citizen
her marriage cert
Her birth certificate
letter of sponsorship
she wrote a letter of explanation because she was not given a letter of employment before she started work and her place of work failed to send her a letter of introduction before intro submitted my application but she put her HR number for them to contact her.
Her cv /resume.
Please I need help. I want to add my mom as my sponsor when reapplying because she has plenty land ,she owns 2 hospitals and is also the cmd of onitsha general hospital. Please is it okay to add her as my Co sponsor and what else can I do to make my application strong. Please gurus help .

You might have no need to go through the whole 14 parts from a few years ago. If you good at solving puzzles reading 2 Parts alone while following the latest one (499pages) and google will do you some good. It is still an overview of everything ever discussed on this thread. Especially page 1, By the time you finish you will informed. Then familiarize yourself with the IMM forms from cic.gc.ca. 85% of questions you likely to ask has been asked at one point or the other on the thread.

During my first application, I added that I had an aunty in Canada. But when I applying the second time, I didn’t tick that I had or knew anybody in Canada. I was rejected based on the grounds that that I had ties in Canada. Please what could be wrong?
Also, is it possible to send a mail appealing the case. Please find attached my second reasons for the refusal. I have travel history, I have a job, I have parents and ties to Nigeria. I attached a lot of notarized landed property documents.
Please I need advise as my school resumes in January. Thank you house

Also, is it possible to send a mail appealing the case. Please find attached my second reasons for the refusal. I have travel history, I have a job, I have parents and ties to Nigeria. I attached a lot of notarized landed property documents.

I was given an ultimate deadline of 25th september by McGill, luckily, passport request came on the deadline. I kept sending mails and webforms to Lagos, Accra, Nairobi, Abu Dhabi. I even sent to Canada and Sydney offices...lool. Abu Dhabi and Sydney offices replied, saying my application is not being processed at their office but in London. From that day, London office started feeling me...an average of three mails and webforms every day morning, afternoon and night. In fact, my approval came in when I typing yet another mail to the London office.

During the waiting period, prayer was very helpful. I prayed my rosary, yes I am Catholic, like I have never done before. I also visited the Blessed Sacrament. Canada pple sabi humble person eeh!!!

You are very right on the highlighted. But review of eligibility hast to be started before a decision is made from my long observation working with people here. Even if it is for a few hours before a decision is rendered, the review of eligibility profiling has to be started even if it was started before and then went back to processing again. It has to start again. Bless the Lord we shall testify. Please the letter you received since what date? Is it similar to the generic letter I received and posted here in the house? When did you apply?

Ps: you mentioned CIC saying your application is under "active review." But the words used in other correspondences people have pasted is 'active processing' I am curious about your own letter and what is the difference with us that received one saying active processing.
