Very calm and mature response. I was hoping against all hope that somehow, party leaders will forgive Ambode and give him the ticket until he pulled that dirty stunt today. The silly attack on Jide Sanwoolu's person was absolutely unnecessary. For whatever this contest is worth, it should never be about personal attacks. Ambode showed today that he truly cannot be trusted no matter the outcome of tomorrow's primary.

He had all the opportunity today to talk about his achievements in office and make a strong case for why he's still the party's best bet going into next years election. However, he took the stupid route of fighting dirty. He lost more supporters today with the ill advice mud fight that he wanted to start.

I think he has tried all necessary ways to make peace with tinubu but didn't yield anything meaningful so he taught coming out dirty is the best. He has to fight back even if he will loose. They want to ridicule him, he should not take it.

Don't mind the useless governor. He abandoned roads and started building useless bus terminals. What's the use of bus terminals when the roads are extremely bad? 1. Health Delivery systems. Take a visit to State hospital, (not talking about physical buildings). The service delivery has degraded. Health workers that were always on their toes during Fashola are now sloppy. I use general hospital all through during Fashola time but immediately Mr Ambo came he restructure the system. I had to move my family to Redington hospital. Their carefree attitude and health delivery environments are gradually getting worse

2. Housing Scheme. There were lot of state housing schemes that was initiated according to the master plan like Rent to Own, LagosHom scheme, State land residential scheme and so on. Where are they today. Note that in Lagos, Landlord use to collect 2 to 3yrs rent until policy were put in place to reduce it to a year. How many bill of such as Ambode pass.

3. Weakling State Ministry and department. Go to Alausa secretariat and ask. Most of the internal organ of the department has been render redundant. State Ministry work for instance were suppose to be in charge of inner road maintenance and repair but today almost all road has to be constructed by contractor from overseas.

4. Law and Order. Have you notice that Enforcement of law and order is weaken. Okada are gradually resurfacing on express way, Beggars are now everywhere. Soonest, if he is allow to be in government, the beggars will soon start rubbing in traffic.

5. Strategy power project. State Ministries including some state hospital and street light were powered through State power project but Mr. Ambo sack the management of the power project in the name of restructuring it. Do your research and find out the story of the day.

6. Climate Change. Plant a tree scheme on climate change and beautification of Lagos. I don't need to talk much on that.

7. PSP. Well, this become obvious because it affect the masses directly unlike those that have indirect effects but mostly dangerous. When something is getting rotten, it start from the inside, the outer part May still be looking fresh but for a time.

8. Transportation. This is another policy that will adversely affect the masses directly. How possible can you centralized transportation of tens of million of passengers. PSP will be nursery problem compare to collapse that the proposed transportation system will cause.

I can go on and on.
In summary, you don't stop house keeping fund, children school fees and maintenance because you are embarking on capital project like building house.
Ambode May have tried on his own, but he should have continues where other stop otherwise, Lagos State, other State so much envy because of the continuous progress will be like the rest of the states where each governor is concern about his ideas which ends with him as another governor is sworn in

Half of the points you mentioned have been in dire need of overhaul and reconstruction since the days of Fashola himself. He built many of those hospitals yet the health system never got better especially in terms of services rendered. State hospitals are the ones with the most carefree attitudes, politics or no politics so stop mixing your garri up with Sand. No one will eat it.

I might agree that he needs to work much more on the Waste management issue and the development of the inner streets of Lagos. But as it is, he remains the one b only candidate worthy of occupying the seat, well in his case, Continuing.

If you all like, bring bundles of paper and start writing shit about what he didn't do or how one thing or the other makes him less of a man or worthy of the post, it changes nothing about the fact that he is also a God sent and he will finish all he's started. A guy like Adeleke who could not pass a single paper in WAEC has no business aspiring to be a governor, and I have made that argument on this forum. It's not right. But that's a different matter from making a few grammatical errors in a fairly long write-up. Compared to people from other African countries, Nigerians generally speak and write bad English. An average Nigerian speaks and writes badly, even when he is smart in other areas. This does not on its own mean he can't make a good governor. That is why a smart person would look at other parameters like Mr Sanwo-Olu's articulation skills.

I mentioned a local govt earlier called Almosho, you discarded it like it meant nothing. FYI, Alimosho is d local govt wit d biggest population in Lagos n not just that, but the place where the APC gets their most votes, it is the place that wins every election for them in terms of vote, yet not Tinubu or Fashola ever showed concern. Wish I could show u what the local govt looked like before Ambode came and gave it a new fcking new face, making me to almost not recognise my city again.

Yes he has to maintain what his predecessor has done and I am sure he's going to do just that becos Rome is never built in a day. And regarding your street lights and maintenance of roads (already done by the state govt), I am forced to ask you this; Where are the Senators and Honoruables representing your area and what in actuality have they done to provide that maintenance? Or even the chairman of your local govt who should precisely be the one bringing governance to the grassroots. Where are they?.
