Was it a gtb card? And which of the centres did you take the test at?

Thanks.

No, Polaris bank card. Bellaz at Surulere.

Has anyone written PTE with UKEAS at Opebi before? How was the experience like?

Alright, thanks. Was your experience not good at Bellaz? I plan on writing there. Hopefully there'll be fewer people.

Sorry for the Negative outcome I'm also a newbie in this process, I've been reading and following ogas
especially koleefem05 and highway007 have both been so helpful. But what I know so far is that whatever you are applying to be assessed with vetassess you must closely align your JD with ANZSCO code, study your negative outcome very well because in it lies the clues and read wildly, be very patient and most of all be prayerful.
well said Chief, I got the clues already, hopefully i would reassess soon. The negative outcome just made me feel i lost a huge amount of money . It hurts, but i am getting over it. Thanks and God bless.

Hello all. Its really not good to use abusive words like foolish to an adult.i tnk i understand why he reacted that way even though i do not support his reaction.in my other canadian thread the two culprits would have been suspended for two weeks.pleas lets respect eachother knowing most of us are profesionals in our different fields

So my occupation (149212) has been moved to low availability in SA last weekend while I'm still here waiting for Vetassess outcome. I pray it comes out this week.

I need help with getting the required documents for the application. Please pm me if you have applied for any state nomination, I need clarification and compare some of the requirements.

I want to be able to apply as soon as my assessment result comes out.

Na beg I dey beg.

SA has a document checklist on their website, its pretty much straight forward to use.

Start prepping with the list ASAP and the cost is 200aud

I think there should be differentiation between words to abuse a person and words to describe a person's actions or behaviour.

I actually described his behaviour to be foolish and I am not apologetic about it.

He asked a question which was adequately answered, only for him to return with accusations of not being helped. I have no other word to describe such behaviour aside foolishness.

I don't think people are disrespected here.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway. Cheers

NB: We don't threaten people with ban on this thread.

Hi bro, to understand better, does the 80 points only apply to 189 visa or does it also apply if one goes for State nomination (190&489)?

Is Internal Auditor your occupation?

The advice was for the occupation she is nominating. For state nomination, it is on individual basis.

If it is SA you are planning to apply for nomination, you are 90% sure of getting it as long as you follow their checklist.

Goodluck.

Thanks so much oga bellog. Pls can I pm you to help review my JD for alignment with vetasses requirement.

Will really appreciate your assistance.

Thanks.

Since my background is science, I may not be able to functionally and professionally interprete ANZSCO descriptions for your occupation.
I will advice you contact someone in that field or related occupation.

It is not just using language but adding the professional terms to convince the assessor in VETASSES.

The experience was very okay. I was the only one who wrote on that day. Just remember to cover the marker that will be given to you when you are not using it. I forgot to cover mine and I missed some words in the summarize spoken text before I was given another marker.

I'm planning to rewrite with UKEAS because it allows for the exam to be written on Mondays including Tuesdays & Wednesdays, whereas Bellaz is only available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Please if you have written with UKEAS, how was d experience like?

No, I was only asking for a friend who is planning to apply for nomination as an Internal Auditor due to his points lower than 80.

Electrical/electronics engineering

I have started searching the sites for the job vacancies, though i would need some more sample commitment statement please
jayooh:

You'd have to search job sites for such, no single body would have what you asked for. Visit all of the following www.seek.com.au; www.jobsearch.com.au ; au.indeed.com ; www.jora.com.au ; also Google is your padi.

What's your engineering discipline?

What's for of assistance?

Also, if one has a relative in Australia, in Sydney , and while applying for 489 from Tasmania, the question do you have a relative in Australia pops up. Would saying NO cause problems later on ?? cause if one says YES you would be asked to write a statement as to why you wouldn't rather go stay with them in Sydney

I haven't written before, this will be the first time I'll take the test. Although I heard UKEAS is almost always filled, thus very noisy. Thanks for the tip and best of luck.

I have written at both centers twice each
judging from my own experience I give thumbs up to bellas as their environment is quiet and center is well organized, system glitches were minimal or non existent.

Hello Everyone, Please, which am i to apply for? Standard CDR Assessment or Relevant Skilled assessment. What is the difference between the two please? IT is Engineers Australia. @bellong @jayooh

For those not sure of where to write their PTE.
I wrote yesterday at bellaz. Mehn! Not sure if there can be any better centre here in nigeria.
We were even called in one by one after every 30mins so that the last person would have been tru with the speaking part. So there was no noise at all as only one person was talking at same time.

I give it to bellaz

The normal pathway is the standard CDR if your degree isn't from a university under the Washington or Dublin accord option. If you have skilled work experience to claim, it's advisable you also assess the relevant skilled employment alongside your qualification (standard CDR), if no experience to be claimed just select Standard CDR only, u can also fast track for swifter processing. Cheers

Good morning house.
Please I have two questions
As an economist, which body will assess one's credentials?
Will they also give 15 points after assessment like EA?
Lastly, which one is better for an economist in terms of prospect and competition?
Australia or Canada?
I'm asking on behalf of a friend who's is still vacillating on the right decision to make

Thanks

@GreenMavro,

1. Organisational chart is to measure the strength of your company and where you fit in the bigger picture. It is not hard to draw one on a letterhead. Provide what is requested for.

2. Why would your company put a website that does not exist on her letterhead paper? You either explain reason for the disappearance of the website or you build one very fast. I guess it is better you explain why there is no website than rushing to build one.

3. Since you have it, submit as requested.

Once you provide all the requested documents, your application will be finalised.

Thanks for the response. I actually have 7 years working experience as a Civil Engineer. I just wanted to be sure if it won't be regrettable to go ahead with the standard CDR and not the relevant skilled work experience.
