Mrschubby:

You’ll send all you have after biometrics to your wife and she’ll add the rest and send everything to Sheffield.
If she says she’s busy, she’ll have to send what she has with her and you’ll post to Sheffield yourself.

As a nurse I've had to work less 3 days before applying to have time to pay attention to details
and send everything all at once. My wife documents was DHL from Lagos for N20K and received it within 3 days.
Both of you needs to be organised. If you're not using priority expect Jan-Feb reply.

She is very busy ? Does she want you in the UK with her or not ?

Would she also be too busy to send the documents to Sheffield?

So she would send all the documents to you in Nigeria, and you would post all the documents back to Sheffield?

You only submit receipt of payment and your passport in Nigeria, all other documents are sent to the UK ......

Is she funding this application or you are fully funding it ?

My point is, it's best both of you put in the effort to achieve a positive outcome.......

Are you using normal or priority visa?

And yes, you can book a flight (only after you have received the visa)....

As a nurse with heavy workload, I have had to work less hours 3 days before and prior to that to ensure
we complete the process together. Just be organised and commit time to it. Dont do it with one hand.

see am trying oo. ive bn reading from d back. Hi guyz. Plz clarify me on this. if hubby stays wt couz in a 2bed, he has tenancy agreement we used for our daughters passport... does he stil need to get consent letter from landlord stating his family can stay or is d tenancy agreement enuff? Does he also need to get inspection letter? Meanwhile @Lexus i applied for another degree certificate and they have sent out. wil receive on tue. Glad!
teejay231:

The most important accommodation documents for spouse visa application with rented accommodation are the letter from the landlord/tenancy agreement and property inspection report. Bills are not required until the FLR stage to prove cohabitation. Then you will need to provide joint or separate bills with the same address.

A 2 bedroom, to house you + cousin + your husband + your daughter? This is clearly overcrowding (I think). Depending on the age of your daughter, it is presumed she must have her own room......

Not unless I don't understand your questions......... In any case, it is safer to have an inspection report + consent letter ......

Hello everyone I thought I would just share this incase someone is in the same boat as me. I travelled to the Uk a few times and lost my passport and have been denied visas but I didn’t know the exact dates. Just found out you can ask the home office for your immigration record that way you can answer the questions accurately. If you also need to get your immigration record the link is.

Now much clearer....... You need a consent letter from the landlord, but inspection report not required.......

Hopefully cousins name is not on most recent voters list (just saying).........

Hi guys,

Please I plan to submit my online application on 2nd November and i have a question about the accommodation documents.

Got married in the UK last month(have marriage visitor visa) but my wife still lives with her parent. We got an apartment and our move in date is 26th October 2018. The documents we plan to submit as the accommodation documents are

1. Tenancy agreement
2. Letter from Landlord
3. Pictures of the apartment
4. Receipt of the deposit and first rent (since we won't have any utility bills or council tax bill by the time we send our documents to the Home office)
5. A brief note by my wife explaining why we got the apartment close to submitting our application (She's the kind of person that cant stay or live alone).

Please do you think i still have to include Property Inspection Report? Man is trying to cut down cost oo coz the apartment cost alone was much cry .

I will post my checklist here for dem bosses to check, stamp and sign grin cheesy grin before sending my documents to the UK home office.

I think you have covered the basics with the documents mentioned above. But to clarify, the apartment is a 1-bed or 2-bed with other functional spaces. right?

All the best!

Have you received any other penalty in relation to a criminal offence; for example a caution, reprimand, warning, or similar penalties in the UK or any other country?

Fear catch me as I see Police letter .. wetin happen ooo. So I did 47 mph on a 40mph na so one of these mobile cameras catch me  . Na so I chill small say no be big issue like that. I had the option of attending a speed awareness course (which I did) exempting me from fine or court.

As far as I have research, this no suppose even fall under any criminal offence. Gurus I beg, wetin you guys think and anyone with such experience please advise 

Thanks boss. The apartment is a one bedroom flat. 1 living room, bedroom, bathroom, mini storage and kitchen.

Made enquiry about the property inspection report and it cost about £140. I don't know if its really necessary to have it.

I do not think it is necessary since you have the tenancy agreement which will clearly state the type of property as well as a letter from the landlord. This is also not a shared apartment so you should be fine.

@ Trumps wall you need not worry about this because it’s not something That goes on your criminal record unlike some other driving offences and as you have not been convicted in a court of law and it is not a offence that attracts a prison sentence you need not worry

Thanks bro .. I guest as much .. just wanted to be sure .. I've also gotten confirmation it's not the case.

If you have the landlords details, request the letter. If not, request through the agents.

I presume your hubby and his cousin signed the tenancy agreement, and both names listed as co-tenants?
