Definitely a red flag. You have simply liquidated your fixed deposit for visa application and you’re likely to be refused. You only need to support your bank account statement with your fixed deposit certificate and a letter of confirmation from your bank that the money will be avaliable to you at short notice. Then explain in a cover letter how you raised the fund for the fixed deposit.
nothing like red flag pls .

Good afternoon all. I have a travel history to South Africa. Now I want to apply for UK visa for same conference that took me to South africa.

Company would be sponsoring as usual but with a monthly salary of 150k, would it suffice?

AZUH:
they dont check cac these days because everybody has it now , they check your business papers invoice and outflow and inflow in your statement

If they have any reason to doubt ur CAC , all they need do is to check online at
http://.gov.ng/ComSearch/index.php
very simple . company name and date of registration pops up.

Only the ECO can determine that.

Maybe your old passport contain the visa sticker. Nothing to worry about. Without valid passport you will not have been issue a boarding pass in the first place.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Fekeri: 1:18pm On Oct 13, 2018
Greetings to the gurus in the house.

I have followed this trend recently and noticed the error I made in my previous application which was that I did not state my refusing at USA embassy and I made a mistake with amount I intended to spend and the total amount earned annually.

Since then my wife have been to the USA twice and returned within 2 weeks. I have traveled with my family to Dubai, South Africa and Kenya. And I have personally gone to Singapore and Spain.

I own my company and have a fixed monthly salary and expenditure running on my personal account with funds in my corporate account and personal account.

Please guide me so I don’t make mistake again and what are my chances. My wife’s USA visa is still active and my 2 kids are just been issued their USA visa too. I was away with work so I didn’t apply with them but their traveling date to the USA is December.

I do hope to hear from you guys.

Thanks!

1. The duration does not matters. What matters is documents to show why the money was paid? Who paid the money? What was the money paid for and if you’re entitled to such payment?

2. It wont affect it.

Hi Everyone,

Have always been a Guest on the forum for over six (6) years, just want to let members here know that with detail information available on the forum you stand a chance of getting visa.

I applied for my mum to visit the UK back in 2015 (her 1st application on a new passport), her six month visa was granted but I made a mistake, I filled the application form for my mum but didn't specified duration of which she eventually spent 5 months in the UK.

I applied to renew her visa twice after her visit , she was refused.
Reasons for refusal.
1st Refusal = she overstayed(she spent 4 months 3 weeks) instead of 3 weeks and large deposit in her account, ECO not sure she will return.
2nd Refusal= No clear source of income and large deposit.

Action point.
The last refusal was last year, the application was reviewed and process by a UK based Immigration lawyer, so based on the refusal, I decided not to use any lawyer again . I decided to be sending a specific amount of money to my mum every month (I was using a registered money transfer company and keeping receipt of transactions) , I asked my sis to collect rent from my mum tenants and pay it to her (mum account) on a specific day of the month which we run for 8 months.
Recent Application.
I filled the form myself, print out all receipt of money sent to her for over 8 months and I explained that the large amount of money that I sent to my mum was for my brother Master degree school fees.
List of document
Invitation letter (stated my mum is coming for 3 weeks for my son birthday)
proof of my employment
receipt of transfer
bank statement (joint account)
Water bill
Council tax
mortgage details.

My Mum document
Passport
Land documentation
letters from my junior one (stating she is responsible for their school fees and other financial needs).

Note
My mum account balance before application was not up to 400k Naira.

The application took 9 working days and she was given 2 years visa.

Congrats. How many months statement did you submit? I am thinking of inviting my mum so your list is very helpful. Do you think they will let me sponsor her trip or must she have enough money to support herself?

I greet the house o

Please gurus make una help me
My husband is on a Tier 4 visa which will expire by January 2020 and I want to apply for defendant visa to join him towards May next year.. I work with my State Govt, my problem is wont the ECO frown at why I'll be leaving work for up to 6 months to be with my husband? Will they accept a written leave of absence letter from my HOD or Perm Sec? Or should I leave out the fact that I am working?
Also, I am yet to change my name to reflect my marital name, will this pose a problem bearing in mind that my passport is bearing my maiden name? My marriage certificate and pictures will be attached at application.

Please help una sister with your candid advice.. I want to start planning early and meticulously

Thanks

You can sponsor your mum. As long as you write a clear cover letter explaining your relationship and why you are the sponsor(inadequate funds on her part) we recently invited my MIL. Used 6 months bank Statements.

It’s not a visit visa, you are moving to join your husband so it doesn’t even matter if you resign. Your using maiden name doesn’t matter. As long as you can prove genuine relationship( marriage certificate, pictures, communication proof etc). I still bear my maiden name and was a dependent on my husband’s visa.

Please can you list docs I might required to present? Marriage certificate, pictures, communication proof, CAS, Hubby bank statement, his data page. Will they need my salary, payslip, appointment letter etc?

hello everyone,

I applied to renew my visit visa to the UK. But I have a problem. The hotel I booked mailed me today that my reservation has been cancelled. I have already submitted and done biometrics using this hotel details. I just re-booked the hotel now, but my fear is that the booking now has another confirmation number. Does anyone know if this will cause an issue with the ECO, when they try to confirm my reservation, or does the ECO confirm reservations at all?. Although, I have studied in the UK before and also, visited the UK twice after that on a visit visa.
