Etebo has not improved and this may not be unconnected to his move to lower division Stoke city. While some may argue that it was his agents decision, the consequences are manifest in his quality of play. His decision making and passing leaves much to be desired. This can however be remedied. He should use every match (both home and club) to prove himself so that a better move would be possible next season (if not in the next transfer window

Etebo has not improved? You watch the match at all? ; D Etebo was probably our best player in the first half. Baba was the creative force of that midfield alongside Iwobi.

I heard Victor Ikpeba's voice o.

He was the one that said "See the pass that he passed" years back.

Yesterday I heard a funny usage of English from him as well.

As at the time the score was 3-nil, Ikpeba days "And now Nigeria are leading"

Pls did we lose a lead, and regained it back or what? And besides since its not Madrid we were playing, was he expecting a comeback from Libya?

I dey fear all hin commentary o. na hin voice me sha hear. poor altogether grin
. The most funny commentary I've heard was that against Cameroon at Uyo from that co-commentator whom I've never heard from again grin grin

The Etebo we saw yesterday was no different from the Etebo we saw in the world cup

He keeps the ball for too long and goes into stupid sliding tackles when the ball is nicked off him

The Libyans penetrated through our midfield in the first half because he was not ready to be a defensive cover as Ndidi

Etebo na master ball holder. Only if he could realese the ball when necessary, he go be Chelsea version of Mikel.

grin grin grin

Any news as regards the injury scare of Shehu. Was one of the few glad to see him back.

No one is even talking of the average age of the XI that played yesterday. looks like an u23 team to me.

Defenders average was 23yrs.

Midfield was 22yrs if I'm not mistaken.

And the attack @23yrs also.

This team needs a new gel and I sense that's what Rohr is doing thus it looks like he froze out the elders.

come 2019, if they team played like 12games before Afcon, I'm sure they would stun Africa, even with a Salah playing against them.

Lol.

Shows the deep gulf existing between screen and pitch in Nigerian football.

My Dad told me the quality of commentary has dropped cos they are still using the old style of the League then@Fabio's ,in a new insultive, funny way.

Lol.

That Cameroun commentator must have been sacked. Our University have more lively, English usage knights that can do the job better.

Etebo is nothing but a jam body player. He must be enjoying it in the championship where jam body is the order of the day. Dude does nothing special than hold on to the ball looking for who to rumble with instead of simply passing the ball to his man, within the course, he either gets fouled or dispossessed. He is not good abeg. The way we over rate our players ehh nawa oo

Ighalo is not the striker who will take us to the promised land. He is a fully grown striker who is still learning how to play the position at this late time in his career. Not a recipe for sustained success at the highest level. When we start playing real teams like we did in Russia, then you will find out you have been sold a bill of goods again. Believe Ighalo and Rohr at ur own peril

Please permit me to call you a biased, over pessimistic, closed-minded complete idiot.

Ighalo gave his sweat and toil and won a resounding hat trick and you have the temerity to post this rubbish?

Is it until Ighalo scores Fifty goals in a match that you will know he is good? Is it until he dribbles the entire eleven opposition players and scores?. Do you know the last time a player scored a hat trick in the GWG? Even Kanu Nwankwo with all his incredible talent never did that for us.

Why must you concentrate on what he didn't do well rather than on his achievements?. This shows that you are no impartial critic, you're just a CHRONIC HATER looking for who to infect with your unfounded pessimism.

congrats to Ighalo and Rohr but I still have my reservations, hence , I dont share your jubilation about Ighalos hatrick yesterday.

Penalty, potential offside, scrappy goal, see how he messed up what would have been a striker's goal from Ndidi's long ball, Kalu's low cross that would have been an easy tap in, check out his positioning from Collins's marauding run, look at his poor controls and lack of pressing sense. At a time Iwobi was the one doing the pressing while our supposed top striker was no where to be found, he didnt even care to cover up for iwobi, hence leaving a big space btwn the attack and the midfield, thoughtout my playing days I was thought that strikers draw the most fouls which help win his team some freekicks and penalties, but in Ighalo's case, dude committed more fouls than his markers. Dat long ball from Ndidi that he messed was reminiscent of what Percy Tau used to put us on a sharp knife edge in that same pitch and goal post against SA in the first match of this qualifiers

This is Rohr trying to justify his unexplained belief in Ighalo. His hattrick yesterday was just an attempt to put lipstick on a pig.

Tenkiu, many of us share same sentiment on Ighalo, but A Hatrick is one hell of a cleaner that wipes away these issues when you try to talk about them. You are only forced to remain calm.

That second goal is so classless of a supposed striker

But concerning ydays match, let's give d credit to ighalo, scoring 3goals in a match is not an easy feat, even if it was just three times his foot touched d ball dt resulted to goals and was largely inactive, he still.deserve d credit....Football is all about goals dt lead to result. cool

As a private citizen, Oby can block whoever she wants. I do not see any wrong here. It is not the same as money laundering or collecting bribes. Both of which Atiku has been accused of.

Moghalu lied?? Ok, what else?

They are not worse than Atiku and Buhari. Afte advocating fo not too young to run. We start supporting 2 men in their 70s with less than appealing track records.

Brother not too young to rule is a scam! At what age did Gown rule Nigeria? What's the average age of pple that fought for independence? What's the average age of the first set of army that stage first coup in Nigeria? What's the age of Dimeji Bankole when he was a speaker of House of Representative? What is the age of ObJ when he first rule Nigeria? What of Awolowo? What of Zik? I can go on and on. Youths in Nigeria has been in forefront of many developmental proj in Nigeria.. We re Just unfortunate we don't have developmental plans.

I tell you. Ronaldo is largely anonymous in most matches nowadays but because of his tap ins and penalties, we are still hailing him. That's how football is. What matters most is the goals, not how you score it.

If scoring hat trick dey easy why Okocha, Kanu, Emenike, Osaze and co no ever score am throughout thier time in the GWG?.

Yea bro I understand but Ighalo already failed us where it mattered most, same way Martins and Yakubu did. We shouldn't put all our hope in Ighalo, dude blows hot and cold, he is a rope of sand, hence his effort yesterday should be taken with a pinch of salt. We deserve something better and we ought to be dreaming bigger. Ighalo just aint what we need, though, I will like him to prove me wrong

There are major differences, Atiku is still full of life and has more entrepreneurial skills and also is more liberal and hence is expected to run an open economy which will in turn attract more Foreign Direct Investments which will in turn create more jobs and alleviate poverty levels in the country. These are the qualities we need from a Leader now.

God bless you abundantly!!! We know atiku is not the Messiah but by miles better than bubu!!! Bubu has taken us to stone age.

BTW have you seen Peter Obi's CV?

The CV is intimidating... cry cry cry.. The only governor that left 160million dollars while leaving office... All debt cleared!

Tribalism and ethnicity should be taken aside... I watched Vietnam success story I started crying.. Just 10yrs developmental plan and focus on human resources.. Then I looked at Nigeria.. I just shake my head...
