aremso:A very big NO. Everyone in Nigeria cannot be a millionaire, no country on earth is every citizen a millionaire. Many Nigerians don't have the mental state to control few thousands of naira, much more millions. Besides, if everybody becomes a millionaire, it won't be a fun thing becoming a millionaire. To become a millionaire, you need a very high level of financial disicipline, which majority of Nigerians lack. |

Donbrig:Thank You very much BOSS, i truly love your stand on this particular question i want to back up your point by saying every Nigerians who DESIRED to be a Millionaire can be As you have stated above, one must have a very high level of financial discipline which majority of Nigerian lacks, we want to eat our cake and at the same time have it in our hands. Jesus says the poor will always be with you but me i want to be among the rich and i believe if one has the desired to be rich legitimately, one would go extra mile to achieve such even as salary earner no matter the amount, one can be a millionaire. Is matter of mind set, one also need to read much about maintaining that status when one gets there. i could remember about 10yrs ago, i was saving my small small money then invest in tb wit returns of 14k on those hard earned saved money, i also diversified into stocks then but i was determined and focused and Thank God today, i can do TB of 10m but still eyeing 20m by next yr GOD helping me. Majority are ruining rat race today cos of financial indiscipline. Today i dont need to use my housing allawe to pay house rent, dividend from my stocks does that for me, TB can pay my child school fees and i invest my housing allawe in return to get more money. Every one who desires to be a millionaire legitimately can be if he/she work towards it and have very high level of financial discipline |

aremso:Is there any thread on nairaland where I can learn about stocks? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by aremso(m): 8:33pm On Oct 22, 2018 |
Grupo:Yes but please dont l let anybody advise you on stocks to buy, do the due diligence yourself, read the financial statements of that company and the dividend payment history before you commit your fund. i tell my broker the stocks to buy for me not even my broker can tell me stocks to buy and now that i can trade in stocks online myself, that has eliminated shakara of my broker. Please read much about where you want to commit your hard earned money. |

| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by zoeA: 1:39pm On Oct 23, 2018 |
How do I start? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Agbaletu: 2:37pm On Oct 23, 2018 |
ozymes:I think if you have above 50m Naira cash, you can be called a millionaire in Nigeria. As for me o, you need to have above 100m Naira cash aside your asset. The acceptable figure is minimum of 1m$ which is about 360m Naira+ |
