Call them to notify and hasten up things. Last trip time I did round trip of 12100 for 6hours, lekki to ikeja environs and back same happened to me. Trip was later reviewed to 10k. Madt people

Now, this is the more reason drivers reject card trip on long trips.

Sometimes I just feel like making small trouble and catch fun.
Just rolling out and the three apps were on, request enter on Uber.
Called the number I saw there the ruder picked, I said good morning Sir.
He didn't respond and the next thing he asked where are you naa? I just end the call, how can someone be that rude?
He called back, I greeted him again he asked the same where are you naa? Without even responding to the greeting.
I decided to catch small fun, I now replied.
Oga I am here he said where?
In my car at legend bar road, do you want to come?
He now said please come to Doreen wellness center, I said okay that's better than asking me where I am and u won't help me with directions after.
Done with the trip still expecting my one star.
cheesy
I dish it out to them as they come. I am tired of hearing that annoying question where are youthat most riders are very very rude they just feel that you are absolutely beneath them. The truth of the matter is that this big headed riders in fact all of them don't know how to use the riders app because you can actually see on the app the location and position of the driver when he picks your request and all they need do is just to simply guide him to their respective locations. The good ones that know about the workings of the app will track you via the app and also call you l when you miss a turn while trying to navigate to their pickup location. Drivers should be the ones asking the riders their location not the other way round because most riders don't know how to use the app giving rise to so many wrong pickup locations.

grin You sef for done play along by telling her you paused it and by so doing you will gain her trust and will she give you 5star rating. Some riders just feel they know too much and when such arises in course of the trip I just lockup and allow them.

Chai, sorry bro its one of things you see as you journey through this business and it makes you stronger. University road is a very bad place to park and wait for request cos those idiots parading that axis, next time you find yourself there enter Unilag, Abule oja(not through the one way o), or the streets linking st Dominics church you will definitely see request there.

As a newbie he should go and read from page one or wherever he wants to start from, atleast he should read something. I know that there are also other things centered around this business that is also bothering him and a quick resolve to all of that is to patiently go through the content of this thread and then come out blowing out. Surely, he will get the requisite experience here.

Oh! So u don’t know that we pause trips these days? Even in madt traffic, I pause trips so that their bill won’t be more than the estimate that was shown before request.

Should prospective drivers now lie that they reside elsewhere from where they are originally domiciled. That I reside in Ikotun/ igando does not mean I will owe you weekly deliveries and what gives you the assurance that that guys that stays in your locality will not default?

I think uber, taxify etc should do more to enlighten their riders on how the app works.
Which goes beyond just opening the app & requesting taxify, lite or uberx.
It's not enough to just do adverts.
Just the way orientation is held for drivers before activation, there should be some form of in-app orientation/training for riders on how to better use the app.

Am a newbie on e-hailing with no experience of driving on the platform.
I have a moderate

knowledge of lagos routes.

My source of motivation can never allow me to be a lazy driver so ur weekly pay is assured.

I need good car thats compatible for e-hailing biz.

If u are scared of giving your car to a newbie, i am ready to pay an assurance deposit of two weeks in advance. So der will be no stories.

Kindly contact me if u can help a young man stand on his feet. 08186759974
