2zona:Even me I am not comfortable with Polaris bank. I have done my part by sending message to them, requesting from them to Change bank to more efficient one. If Morgan is one of your stockbrokers please do well to send your own mail requesting from them to change from Polaris bank to more better one, or add another bank as an alternative. If they have not change, many here will concentrate on other stockbrokers that uses better bank. With all this change of management , withdrawal of license and handing over to another set of Nigerians, raised a great concern. What if one has lodged a huge amount of money in the bank, and the bank happened to travel finally, will Morgan acknowledge the receipt of payment?, will the person stockbroking account be credited?, will he be allowed to buy stock using that money, when even Morgan may not have access to the money? More voice are needed to get Morgan capital change to another bank, or better still, add another bank to their existing Polaris bank. |

stcool:The alarm you guys are raising is unnecessary. Polaris will not fail. Its presently in the hands of cbn and still operates well. Its up for sale. Polaris is not the first bank to be taken over by cbn. The others did not fail. Although I regret the loss suffered by shareholders, I think the cbn practice of taking over failing banks and selling same to willing investors is commendable. It secures depositor funds, jobs and economic balance. I can assure you that there are more than 10 capable hands, local and foreign, (including insiders) ready to takeover the bank. Its a very large bank. A combination of old Afribank and skye bank. |

Why is Morgan foot-dragging to change their bank ? Why can't they have alternative bank for client ? |

stcool:Perfect. I use Meristem too. Their mobile app is really cool. They have an okay volume and liquidity too. Someone told me UCAP (UBA) app is cool too, though for now I am sticking with Meristem as their volume is okay. |

MSCI PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT- AS AT 31 OCTOBER 2018/GENERAL COMMENT With the state of the market at the moment, you cannot fault MSCI Nigeria being out of the market. Yesterday we all deserted the forum too. This is reasonable considering the state of the market. For today expected High is 32,988.11 low at 32172.05. We should not be in a hurry to buy into the market. Any purchase should only be in the best of the best equities. Our B- A x 3 > 0 is keeping me out of the weak stocks and I am extremely happy for this. If you don’t know what the above equation is, just see the tweeter hand Target Technical Analysis. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). N:B 1. Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who doubts the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months. 2. The fund will still hold some equity, the terms of service states this. Thus no matter the condition of the market, it will not liquidate to Zero. This is an equity fund investing in the Nigeria market. 3. You cannot bear losses like the fund. The pocket of the fund is too deep. Therefore, as an individual you are not suppose to be in the market during the stock markt crash. Before or during the crash, reduce your holding. 4. If you are seeing this type of data on MSCI for the first time. You may need to verify the figures. Go to my previous posts, you will see the various sources where the data can be verified. |
