That is why the secondary market exists. You can liquidate anytime you want. Besides you are not made to subscribe for any tenor under duress

really? Wow I'm learning. So if I decide to liquidate, what about the interest they already paid me upfront? What would they do about it?

Eeyah. Don't mind them. If you will wait for the next auction, try and fill the form like two days before the auctioning date

The picture just shows tenor, amount and rates.

You can invest 100k and above for 30 days and get 13% per annum (higher than T.bills rate)....the longer the tenor the higher the rate.

The joy is that the rates increases with tenor and amount.
For example if you invest 100k for 30 days you get 13% p.a, if you make it 181 days you get 14% p.a.

If you invest 1M for 30 days you get 14% p.a and if you make it 181 days you get as much as 15% p.a.
You can even gat as much as 19% p.a on your investments! Its flexible, you can liquidate at any time and you can rollover capital+interest at the end of the tenor.

You can DM if you are interested... Or u need more clarification...

You would lose part of it by deduction from your capital. This has been addressed in the previous pages. Just read the pages backwards to get a more holistic view

Are you saying the big 4 were involved in auditing those banks? If it is as you say then we can as well just remove all our money from all banks, bonds, Tbills, money market funds and the stock market and put it in Bitcoin as it's trust less. Though I will need to do this research, because this is a very scary thought. Something many people are not thinking about.
I've always had some small value gestating in my btc wallets but I don't know that I believe the hype anymore. Apart from the fact that you need to be reasonably geeky to properly secure your wallet, the stability of fiat is never there.
I remember something about investment in foreign(US/European) markets here on nairaland. But it will probably not be worth the effort.

If my maths is correct, what she got is about 11% (pro-rated) for the 90 days. Am I right?
(I am a learner on this thread).

I divided 31k/1.2 million. Multiplied by 100 will give about 2.5. Multiplied by 4 (it was divided by 4 to prorate into 90 days). I got 10 ish. Add charges = 11 (approximate)

grin grin grin marketing him in the open is good... But his declaration of interest should be secret..
If some people are good marketers with genuine interest... being able to openly allay them of their fears as they raise concerns will draw more customers and eventually if his is able to gain their trust his brand will become secret..

Not just posting any enticing rates without telling people the origin how to go about it. Abi him want hypnotise them after declaring interest?

You have raised really solid points. I once also tried to invest in the foreign (US/Euro) market, but the wahala is much and the fees, I didn't like it.

Also cryptocurrencies has a lot of hype that it will do you good not to listen to, beware of hype or following trends, but the real tech and economic importance behind some of them like Bitcoin and co, are very significant especially in line with companies and banks cooking books and fighting inflation.

As for securing your wallet, will advise you to use a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S or Trezor.

And finally, for me cryptocurrencies are not really an investment. They are a kind of hedge or insurance against something bad happening to my naira assets from stocks to Tbills to Mutual funds or my bank account or a hedge against global currency crisis. The problem is there are a lot of speculators in the game causing volatile prices.

Nice discussing with you. grin

Both secondary and primary market rates are not fixed. You just have to walk to your bank or send a mail to your account officer to know what the rates are.

Hope this helps.

For example, I buy 365days treasury bill from the primary market at 13% and on the 100th day I needed cash and wrote my bank to terminate my investment. The remaining 265days will have to be resold to someone and that person gets it at the secondary market.
So for someone buying that, say with 1M, you get (1000000*13%)*265/365 which is your interest paid upfront less deductions (custody n transaction fees.
So if u need to buy from the secondary market, walk in to the bank and inquire about the different rates and tenors available and subscribe or mail your account officer. Hope this helps
I want to ask, is it when until someone is available to buy frm the secondary market before d bank would credit u if u terminate ur T.B before maturity date.
