I'm very happy that both Forgiveness and Komekn made the list. This shows our open mindedness and will to tolerate everyone's opinion no matter how different they may be from ours.

Big ups to Icon4s for organizing a free, fair and credible election. You are indeed a leader of men.

AFCON: Baxter urges S/Africa fans to come out en masse to intimidate Nigeria

By Ayo Olu Ibidapo - November 3, 2018 148 0

Ahead of their must-win clash against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Johannesburg, South Africa Coach, Stuart Baxter has urged their fans to come out en masse to support them to ensure they get all three points, ”
The 65-year-old, who spoke through a video posted on the team’s twitter handle, further urged the fans to give the Super Eagles an intimidating atmosphere to ensure South Africa picks one of the two available slots in the group.
“As you know, we have a big game coming up, a very important game against Nigeria in AFCON. It will be good to give them a sought of intimidating atmosphere here in Johannesburg as they gave us when we visited Nigeria.
“So, get behind the team, get behind Bafana, enjoy your day and let’s try to pull this one off,” Baxter said.
Similarly, former Bafana Bafana captain Neil Tovey also urged the fans to come out en masse and cheer the team to victory against Nigeria.
“Hi South African football fans; please come out and support Bafana Bafana against Nigeria, you need to give us all the support in a very tough qualifying match. Come show your love,” Neil Tovey posted.
Despite beginning the qualifiers on a high note, South Africa find themselves second in the group, needing a win to fend off Libya from reaching the tournament in Cameroon next year, while a draw will send Nigeria to their first AFCON since 2013.

Only if we can we have this kind of list in our National Assembly where we have a minority leader that his/her words don’t carry much weight all because he’s part of a minority sect in the house. What a balanced committee if you tell me, equal number of people on the Republicans ,Democrats and Liberals.

Chriskels, I see you

He has played his way into Arsenal's starting 11.And one very important thing is he has transformed his Arsenal form into the SE as seen against the Libya double header.

Really happy that we now have someone in our team that other teams can fear when they meet us.

Destiny Ashadi: I just laughed away Junior Lokosa failed trial story

By admin -
November 4, 2018, 7:29 am

Destiny Ashadi has told SCORENigeria he could only laugh when he read stories out of Nigeria that Junior Lokosa had failed trials in China.

The Katsina United star midfielder underwent trials alongside Kano Pillars striker Lokosa at Chinese club Heilongjang Lava Spring and both returned to the country Saturday.

Ashadi told SCORENigeria on arrival from China: “When I read the story about Lokosa, I just burst out laughing because it was all fabricated.

“People should stop misleading the general public with fabricated and false stories. Lokosa and I did well based on the report of the coach while talking to us.

“I am still wondering where such writers got their information from because both of us are expected to go back as soon as Chinese transfer window opens.”

Junior Lokosa, Destiny Ashadi Shine On Trials

He added,”The trials went well and we gave it our all, all thanks to Almighty God for a successful outing over there in China.

“It was not easy but I thank God because we did not disappoint.

“The coach said he can’t wait to have us in their squad that he believes our talent will add a lot of value to the team.”

The transfer window in China will re-open on January 4.

From all indications, RSA takes this match more serious than us.

Though our qualification is not hinged on this match, our motivation should be to stop them from qualifying. Same way they stopped us at Uyo for the 2015 edition.

A draw will not see them through if Libya wins their 2 matches. A draw or a win for us is the same.

Yea...a draw is OK,elder but I can't settle for that especially when they are beatable.

Just imagine what it will feel like beating them and their female counterpart on same day... then you will understand what I mean.Beating their female counterparts is a work over(that I know).

Mokotjo ruled out of Bafana

Posted: 4 November 2018Time: 08:18 am

Midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo is set to miss Bafana Bafana's upcoming assignment against Nigeria later this month.

Mokotjo suffered an ankle injury in his side's 1-0 defeat away to Norwich City in the Championship last weekend and was substituted out after 30 minutes.

He was subsequently ruled out of his side's 2-0 victory over Millwall on Saturday and, following further assessments, will be sidelined for up to six weeks.

This means the 27-year-old will not be amongst the names set to be announced by Bafana coach Stuart Baxter on Monday for the penlutimate 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifer against the Super Eagles on November 17.

Mokotjo had started and completed the last three qualifiers including the recent back-to-back clashes with Seychelles as well as the goalless draw with Libya in September.

The former FC Twente star has tallied five starts and nine substitute appearances in the league this season, also managing a goal and an assist prior to The Bees' thrid round league cup exit at the hands of Premier League giants Arsenal.

Bafana are currently second in Group E, with eight points from four games, and need just three more points to guarentee their qualification to next year's showpiece in Cameroon.

Nigeria are top of the standings – one point ahead, while Libya are on four points and Seychelles sit bottom with just one point.

Others set to miss this month clash include France-based duo Bongani Zungu and Keagan Dolly, as well as local-based Dean Furman, Bradley Grobler and Sibusiso Vilakazi.

SAFA to lift Serero ban?

SAFA are looking at recalling Holland-based midfielder Thulani Serero for the AFCON qualifier with Nigeria next month.

SAFA banned Serero from playing for Bafana Bafana in February after he refused to report for national duty unless he was guaranteed game-time in Stuart Baxter's side for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Senegal last year.

The Vitesse playmaker was benched in the previous three internationals, twice against Cape Verde and against Burkina Faso.

In a Dutch media report in November 2017, Serero was infamously quoted as saying: "The sofa in Arnhem is more comfortable than the South African bench.

"If the national team wants me, then I must play. As the situation is now I don't want to go."

But according to sources at SAFA, the national association are making efforts to patch things up with the former Ajax Amsterdam man.

"There has been contact. SAFA are keen to bring back Serero to Bafana Bafana," says a source.

"He could be included in the squad to be announced by Stuart Baxter for the game against Nigera."

Group E leaders Nigeria have already named their squad to face Bafana, which is notably without ex-Chelsea star John Obi Mikel.

The Super Eagles have nine points from four games - a point more than South Africa with two matches left.

Bafana will host the West Africans on November 17 before concluding their campaign with a trip to Libya (four points) on November 23.

The top two sides in each group will qualify for Cameroon 2019.

Iwobi is putting in consistent top performances whether he starts or not. He has had a resurgence under this new manager.

He is now a major player for Arsenal and the great thing he can only get better.

He just needs to add goals to move him to the next level.

Exactly jare.. he needs to be scoring more....He already has more career assists than goals.

Yes she did after humility had humbly PROPOSED to be her knight in shiny armor, to protect her come reign or Sun and make her ever happy. I suppose it's not the outcome that matters to her just to show that someone respects and admires humility. Meanwhile Dr. Eseose also got a vote not from me though.
