This country is the hub of badly run businesses. With all the political clout covering them, Oando can't still do well. Seplat has left them behind.

NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT/MSCI NIGERIA PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT - AS AT 6 NOVEMBER 2018

Yesterday was a good day. The quality of gainers was quite high.

One of the equities on my watch list is set to make some very fast gains (have secure full admission into the bullish University), there is letter A in the name of this stock). This can be compared with FCMB which in my opinion have just scored a good cut off mark in Jamb to qualify for post UTME (these are Nigeria terms for University Admission). Post UME cut off is around 1.68, if price hit this level, then the stock has qualified for matriculation into the Bulls University. For FCMB first test score after matriculation should be around NGN1.88.

Around 12.00pm the equity that was admitted on merit will be shown in our twitter handle (you should note that each stock has got different cut off mark, every equity is like a department on its own to avoid confusion.

For today expected High is 32,260.91 low at 31,998.24. As previously pointed out, these are estimates to gauge the strength of the daily closing figures. Therefore, are not expected to be actual closing figures.

I check it daily and every hour until the exchange closes every single day. I even check some minutes after it is closed to be sure some people did not go back to open it to trade.

I treat my money here like little children under my care inside a very dangerous workshop.

No time to allow them pick and play with very sharp objects scattered everywhere...

When I know I won't be watching them very closely, I lock the workshop with three padlocks and keep them outside the workshop....

This is a place that blinking is no longer tolerated, if tempted to blink, wedge your eyelids with sticks...
