A40:spurs(with superstar derozan) also lose to sac.kings. i read it somewhere sometimes ago when boogie cousins called the nba a fake(it's some years ago,cosins was still at sacramento then).am beginning to feel he's right. |

when you talk to the technical folks about heart, spirit and intangibles they laugh you off and point you to numbers. nevermind the formulas they use make assumptions. we are witnessing the gm from mit, mr technical, Morey fumbling around. His formula didnt predict this. How does letting Ariza, a role player walk make a better team on paper look worse. How does a low risk move in Carmelo risk the season. How does cp3 lose value after paying him what the formula says he is worth? crazy times |

birdman:Over-reliance on analytics has always been Morey's bane but the one time the analytics should have helped him and told him Melo might not necessarily be a great fit he didn't take heed to it. I think Melo has been made the scapegoat in this particular case though. Guys like Gordon, Paul and Harden were struggling and somehow it was Melo's fault 1 Like |

Rockets Won, and i did call it, we been having a good defense this past 3-4 games keeping opp def below 100 but nobody really notices cos our off has been up and down. On to the next vs GSW I still dont expect the birds to win. KD is on point and Jerebko is acting huge in the paint ! |

birdman: Unfortunately like Roland17 & A40 said Analytics is taking over in this current age and nobody wants to feel like a 90's team by not indulging in it. However Hou is the godfather of Analytics, we basically started this sh!t and took it to a whole new level so we were due some -ve discrepancies once in a while Melo isn't the scapegoat, yes hou were poor offensively but that doesn't mean our def should collapse too, Melo is just too bad defensively and for a team having hopes of a conference final, he would be a liability down the run, i mean jeez didnt U guys watch how the bulls were switching ferociously just to be 1on1 with Melo and they were all scoring on him an even when he fouled em it was either and1 or they made their foul shot, his defense is a no-no, if he was dropping 25 a game it did make sense to offset his weakness but noooo all Melo wants is iso this iso that, limiting our long range... Infact both parties got it wrong I feel Melo would be better off on a team whose motto is "Playoffs is the Objective but not everything " ala Lottery teams cos then at least we can envision him playing more minutes. GSW won! trust Kd to come huge down the 4th quarter. |

The warriors beat hawks without draymond,heard he was suspended for a case with kd.that team too balance,it's set up in a way that if a star is missing,the team won't feel it at all.i just imagine the warriors signing another all star again(maybe giannis or embiid or davies). |

Roland17: I believe most of Us already knew after his 2nd NBA ring or even before then, that KD wasn't going to stay past his initial contract years ( would like to see him join OKC back tho) . Beef or not, it doesn't look like an issue that would would diminish their chance of least making WCF considering their team roster, mentality and organisation(unless something drastic happens) cos Draymond emotional outburst arent uncommon ( he did however question KD's commitment back in the locker room as reported) and mostly everyone views it as normal Dray Green personal. Still can U fathom a same situation with Green doing this to Curry?... Exactly! Which reiterates back to my 1st paragraph. |

This media narrative about KD leaving. LOL. To where? People talk like every team can afford him or can win with him. The only thing that man cares about at this point is money. Nothing else. Nothing about the whole "we knew he was moving" narrative makes sense. Two highly tensed people were involved in a scuffle and Draymond tried to get at KDs insecurities because Draymond is a nut-kicker. That is his persona. KD is not moving anywhere. People can quote me after the season. |
