Guys, how do you handle riders with overload.

Got a request at Oshodi, parked and waited for like 7 mins only for them to occupy my backseat (4 at the back, pleading), "bros, please we are students, going to Unilag, please sir!"

Taxify.

I respectful tell them that it is against uber/taxify policy.
They may plead all they like, but will pleading get your shocks fixed at the mechanic? And if God forbid your enemy is involved in an accident with varying degrees of injuries, carrying excess passengers will surely get you in to more trouble.

what kind of wife do you have? Immediately a well brought up woman encounters such drivers, before he finishes the first sentence she shuts him up.
exactly. The woman was probably lenient. For the driver to ask for a hug at the end of the trip showed she could have entertained the toasting all through the trip. If the driver had been shut up he won't dare ask for any hug.

If it was me ill query my wife on why she couldn't halt him rather than targeting the driver.

Guy u be street, so if na the MD where she dey work dey toast am, you go tell her to quite her job? @lagostaxiguy na the one she tell you you know. She fit they test you self, you don call am e apologize, you still report am.. Your insecurity.... Maybe she never born for you. Keep am in house, na the best advise. If the guy know say na the reason them commot am from taxify be that, e fit dey remorseful or revengful (uber don do their worse, what happens next na u go feel am). E get one time my wife tell me say her gym instructor they hit on am (the fact say she tell me mean say nothing fit happen, if e go happen I no go know), I no let am see say my emotion dey control me.
I am not in support of what the driver did, I just believe you could have remedied the situation better. Please don't let your emotions control you, be in charge, be calm, think through every decision. God will guide us.
.

Nah soh boss! Nah the one she tell em he know, he should have hide his emotions, and find a better way to work on the issue. For what it worth, the guy knows his house, how safe are they now? You are just thinking one way. When mosquito deh person blokus, nah gently dem deh take handle such matter. I hope he have been able to ask the wife, if he is the only guy hitting on her and be vest prepare to go after them one by one (New Job Alert)

Make I burst em burble: An average fine girl/woman got hit more then 15 times in a week by different men... It her battle, let her fight it, not yours atall. Peace

This is the same way people shame rape victims. Asking why would she dress that way, why would she go out at night, why would she meet him in an hotel.
Not every lady can behave like a tout, like someone said earlier, some ladies are very classy. The wife has no blame whatsoever in this scenario, I can’t believe y’all can blame her for anything.
People report drivers for way lesser offence than this. What exactly is wrong with the husband reporting the driver?

Shut him up?
A guy that goes that far, no one knows what he's capable of doing to her on the road or in the car.

Anything can happen, a pervert like the driver can drive her somewhere else, sexually assault or even do something worse because she's defenceless and I also assume it was at night.

If something bad had happened bcause the woman shut the driver up , we would be heaping blames on the woman by now, saying she should have played along till she got to her house.
hush.. GAZZUZZ is always right. Yes, the woman according to him should av shut him up instantly, violently or whatever. It was wrong for the woman to apply common sense in handling a potential rapist in a moving vehicle.
According to almighty GAZZUZZ cool

charity begins at home bro. There are some men that will laugh it off when they hear another man is trying their woman. They know its just not gonna work.

The trip ends with a request for a hug? Youve got to think what went through all along for such request to be made. That alone will make me question the woman. Also a woman doesnt have to act like a tout to reject a man. A maturely sound warning is enough or even ending the trip sef.

You are right bro, she could have done all these things you said. But remember, there are many ways to resolving an issue. For example, when an uber driver inflates my fare with lockito, I keep calm, I don’t argue, I pay you whatever amount you show me and report to uber after. The lady is civilized enough to keep calm, finish her ride and do the right thing by reporting.
Again, not every one can act violently or like a tout. To insinuate that the lady has no home training breaks my heart mehn.

This is absolutely unflattering about someone else's wife . You should think very well before talking about people's wives. Imagine someone insinuates that your wife was not well brought up would you like it? Guy use your brain.
smh..if i say make i type wetin dey mind after reading that post of his tho. undecided

The only mistake here is from the husband, who thought everything good will come from publicizing the issue on here.

If his wife was raped, she lacked common sense in handling the situation, by not playing her cards well.

She got home safe, oh she's ill-mannered for leading him on by not giving him a harsh response tone, as if he was there to record the key notes

The woman always gets the blame

Well, I maintain my corolla with grade a tokunbo parts.

Alternator you listed is 10k tokunbo, to change the kitting less than 1500, it's the kitting that normally spoil

Front shock is 4k each without spring, the spring will be there forever hardly spoil.

Back shock 3500 each without spring.

Some stuff I buy tokunbo some new one.

Brake pad corolla wholesale in trade fair is 1800, retail outlet some sell 2500/3000

Stabilizer leakage the 2pcs is 1200 whole sale price in trade fair. Retail sale for 1800/2000

This are common things that spoils in corolla.

The spare parts are very cheap forget mechanic quotation. Forget this one na original this one na fake all parts comes from China, some repackage to sell it expensive.

I agree with you about 80% ... I buy most of my parts for my uber cars on ebay.. When u now compare buying it from ladipo market... now the China part..most parts that come from China into the USA market, are better regulated than other African markets ...but you can't blame the Chinese people... it is what you ask the Chinese is what they will make .....can you imagine I bought a pair of shocks for $60 for my uber cars ...1 year plus the shock is doing great no complain from my drivers... but am sure those shocks might not give a very smooth ride. But for uber and factor in bad Nigerian road.. It is a win win for me

The tokunbo shocks we normally get from ladipo is either from America or Malaysia/Singapore Those shocks are very good. They last more than one year.

I actually prefer tokunbo than the new parts.

If you know your way, you will understand that corolla is one of the cheapest car to maintain.
