But if i find grace and my ambition to travel is successful in year 2021, i will be happy and sad cos i have lost most of my youth life here in Nigeria. But i am not able to travel abroad, then so be it, we only live once.

One of the fundamental problems of Nigeria is RELIGION and TRIBALISM.... Take away these two and 50% of out problems is solved. Look around, which country thrives well when the number of churches and mosques surpasses the number of businesses?

Yes, they created the democratic system of government... they pick all African presidents whether military or civilian.

do you hail politicians
Does your family have a flawed value system
Are you satisfied when you are hailed

you said it yourself "Thereby produce more looters as it becomes a culture"... this is the important part of your comment... It becomes a cycle and the unborn generation will see it as a norm...

Every "good" African leader has either been assassinated or ousted...

When I read the history of Nigerian army, I. understood how influential the British people are. They used Hausas initially because they were strong and easy to control, then they included Yorubas because they were also placable. It was an interesting read. You are right, Britain still chooses our leaders that's why we have mostly Northern people because they are easy to control. Imagine, at one point if you can't speak Hausa the British won't trust you in their Nigerian regimen cause Hausas are strong alies. We are trapped as it is, that's why I even suspect some of these online folks trying to hit up the polity. We don't even know if we are talking to Blacks or Whites. No pic attached, same with the OP, how do we know he's a 9jerian? Respect to you Sir

Bad example. Singapore is a homogeneous society. It thus has not had to deal with the level of conflict that we have had to deal with.

Such major conflicts are powerful stumbling blocks to development and progress. I am not aware that Singapore has fought a Civil War for example. But even if they had, it's still not the same as the level of complexity cannot be compared at all.

We are about 300 different nations crammed into one space. Merely achieving coherence will of course be a challenge.

Nigeria alone is more ethnically and linguistically diverse than the whole of Europe put together and this factor has a bearing on attaining national coherence. A very serious bearing.

So there's your answer. Please compare apples with apples next time. Do not compare us with places like Singapore; Qatar; Bahrain or the UAE.

Baba , keep quiet , Haiti that is 214 years old , what does she have to show.

That country is nothing but a failure.

A country that it's main exports are t shirts and jeans.

And the weird thing is that when whites ruled Haiti it was glorious.

Respect to you Ma,

Only one problem with that history.... I used to think it was H:ausas and saw it as H:ausas but a part of my mind also thinks they were F:ulanis who spoke hausa fluently, I'm not trying to revise it but IN MY OPINION, H:ausas are at the bottom of the "Nigerian caste system" the british created...

they added Yorubas mainly because they were based in Lagos... they had serious issues with the Yorubas from war, to been deceived by the Yorubas....

another reason I suspect they were f:ulanis is the mode of operation with present day h:erdsmen is very similar to how the Nigerian regimen operated according to the history I read....

may be I was just been a conspiracy theorist

looter politicians pay people to hail them, this in turn creates a "chain reaction" such that when people see someone they know hailing the politician that person has a 50% chance of supporting that person...

It is called mental conditioning or training the brain...

It's also why the media was created... In order to sway public opinion in their favor...

black american society isn't messed up... don't be deceived by what you see on the media...

white people love to publicize the shortcomings of black people whether in Africa, Australia, America, Europe, Asia e.t.c...

they also publicize "celebrities" in order to groom the brain of black people to aspire to be like their "idols"...

Black Americans I know or another one?

Don't give up, there are different countries to start from, securing western nations visas as a Nigerian is becoming a herculean task, when I applied for post graduate studies years ago, it was much easier but it is difficult now even if you meet all the requirements, if age is on your side and you are working in Nigeria and has a first degree, try the Canadian skilled workers program or you can go through Germany if you have about 8000 euros for deposit towards your studies, don't wait till 2021 before you make a move, it might be extremely difficult, besides, how old are you?. flee from the shithole jungle grin

Leave the U.S for now. There are other countries in Europe, South America and Asia that have migration friendly policies. You just have to carry out your research and spend time in the travel section
For christ's sake, you can even take a short visit to Cotonou and Lome to get an idea of how life is in saner climates. You are behaving as if the U.S is your only option.

Nigerians fret too much about Nigeria and the "black race".
Nigerians want Nigeria to develop at warp speed which is completely impossible.Do we know how old the nations of China,USA,Japan and France are?Argentina and Mexico are over 100years old yet they still have challenges worse than Nigeria. What had these nations i mentioned achieved when they were 60years old? They mention Singapore..how large is it?and what is the size of their human population?
I am now at peace because I know for sure,Nigeria will become a developed state in about the year 2150

Lmao

U do know that Haiti is about 214 years old and yet even mushins past and future is better than Haiti.

Stay here and keep on deceiving ur self .

they blew the money, And are not crying "gentrification"

What statistics did you use to arrive at this? Pls let's start from seeing the statistics and I will show only one fact that this admin has borrowed more than what was borrowed in the 16 years of pdp government without any TANGIBLE infrastructure to commensurate with their borrow.
And I will gladly point to you that this is the most brazenly corrupt administration since am an adult in 2003,i will also show you that this government is the most tribalism government since the coming of democracy to nigeria, I will still pointedly show you how the chief marketer of our nation dubbed as the chief DE marketer..
Bro, I can't vote for this government no matter the spin.

I disagree with the "will never be part because nigeria would be great ONE DAY, maybe in 5,000 years timegrin

The question that usually infuriates me the most is WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO DEVELOP THIS COUNTRY?

Please do i look like a builder or politician?
I know the development of a nation depends on the people and the leaders. In Nigeria, people are not that powerful, our leaders are but what are they doing? they are doing what they know how to do best, that is to embezzle the public funds and run to a sane country to enjoy the money with their families.

I have done alot of things to change people's mentality. Guess what, they are far from changing.

Seriously, as i am o, i no fit work for Nigeria, even if i get work for NNPC. I don't care. What i care about is myself and if possible, i want to invest, Nigeria would be the place... That is the least i can do for Nigeria.
