Correct. Thanks.

I heard it's 16,610 per passport now. N460 is SMS fee within that amount which you can decide to pay or not. It is not beneficial in any way. Courier fee is optional too. If you are picking it yourself, no need to pay that. Add the VFS consent letter. It's one of the requirements. Very easy to fill.

Thank you sisterly.

I'll add the VFS consent form then.

It will end in praise IJN!

I had to register on Naira land today to give my testimony

I am so grateful to God, he has been more than sufficient. Even though I was not registered on Nairaland. I read everybody’s testimony and I was genuinely happy for them. I used every testimony as a point of contact to mine. On this journey I prayed, fasted and gave thanks. The race is not to the swift, God’s mercy has been sufficient. Yesterday I received the GCM note I ordered 15th of Oct and it was so long, the only thing I picked from it was security not started. On sunday I told God I wanted to testify this week and I danced so much in church.
This morning I woke up to read at 5am then my alarm sounded at 5:30 to wake my nanny, I just decided to check my mail even though I said I wasn’t checking. I saw two emails one was from planning for Canada and the second was the GOLDEN MAIL I screamed, my hubby was working on his laptop and asked what.... I told him and said I needed to log on to our account to confirm but nothing changed there. I insisted that it was the long awaited mail. He doesn’t know much so he did not realize I was serious until the dancing and praying God started. I danced from that moment till 7.30am with thanksgiving songs on the speaker. My hubby couldn’t stop smiling.
I am grateful to God, my friend and to everyone for their wonderful contribution. We will always have reasons to rejoice. My friend’s application is in Accra, I have been praying for her and everyone in Accra and I will not relent. This celebration has to be in full. We might need to hold vigil for AVO.
I am too excited, I have not done anything today at work.

Find below my my ielts testimony.
I had shared it thru my friend’s moniker sometimes ago

My Testimony......
I wrote my first ielts test on the 24th of March 2018 with MOD and I had LSRW 8,8,7.5,6.5 to be honest I didn’t know as at that time it was important to have atleast 7 in SRW I was only concerned about L until the result was released. I immediately registered for another one and started preparing again I wrote the second one on the 28th of April my result was LSRW 8,7.5,9,6.5 this was when I realized my writing was a problem. When I saw this result I was extremely sad but instead of wallowing in my sadness I was praising God and rolling on the floor in my room like I had the best result ever. Thanking God and crying at the same time. Luckily my friend(the one posting this for me)passed this time, we had initially planned to celebrate our results together once we passed but mine didn’t come thru. I was very happy for her and I needed to be strong for my self so she could enjoy her own victory and not pity me. She informed me she was going to pick up her result on the 7th of May so I decided to follow her and have a remark even though I knew it was MOD. All the people I confided in advised me not to apply for a remark but instead move on and rewrite but Something in me couldn’t just let go. We got there and I paid for the EOR from a borrowed fund because I was broke. I met a lady who escorted her friend to pick d result of her remark and it was unfavorable so she immediately told me not to apply for a remark but my mind was made up. I ticked all except reading so I could get my money back if any one of them was upgraded. My plan was to wait for the usual MOD’s 10days and if the remark is not favorable quickly register for 2nd June. I started calling them after 12days but their response was it takes 2-6wks.
I immediately registered for another test still with MOD. I wrote an essay and a letter everyday and gave it to my friend to read and correct for about 2.5weeks before d exam. She was very dedicated to reading my essay and I was wondering how she wasn’t tired of them (thank you)Few days before d exam I fell in love for with a song Hallelujah by Lara George, It’s been on my phone for a while now but it was as if I just realized d meaning. I was always happy listening and singing it.On my speaking day I was listening to it even on exam day. It gave me so much peace and confidence.
Fast forward result came out and I made it this time LSRW 8.5,7.5,8.5,7 I was extremely happy and couldn’t stop thanking God. I told my husband to help me pick my result, gave him a letter and my passport. In the letter I also requested them to give him my EOR and my cheque if upgraded. They only gave him my current result so I sent him again with another letter. In the night when he came back he handed me the changed result, cheque and letter of upgrade alas! My writing was upgraded to 7 from 6.5. I was happy and almost crying at d same time. The time, emotions sacrifice and everything,money put into writing another exam..... but most importantly I was super grateful. Note that I called MOD on the 12th of June and I was told it was ready so I decided to collect the 2 together.
My Certificate and hubby’s has been evaluated, he wrote his test today so I am waiting for his result. We are currently at 437 and in d pool with my own test cos I have 2or more certificate. This long post is to encourage someone who might be in a similar situation or worse or depressed. Please don’t give him listen to what inspires you and forge ahead. I already promised God this will be posted and this is me fulfilling my promise. May God crown our efforts with success and grant us our heart desires according to his will. Amen. I apologize for the long post. My hand hurts already.

As far as i know, no, it is not enough pre-ITA. After you get ITA, you can modify the work history section to include a 1-year experience (say, NYSC for example) and move the rest of your work history under the Personal history section so you would not have to provide references from all your places of employment.

I think this is wrong cos it is clearly stated that a minimum of 1 year continuous paid work is a requirement on the CIC website. And a few weeks ago, someone here got PPR with 1yr housemanship

Hello All,
Pls I need urgent input on below matter;
If you are processing Express Entry. Is there still need to go birth in the US?
Reason for my question is;
I am currently preggy. My hubby & I are processing Canada PR. Currently awaiting our PPR but I’m not sure we will get CoPR before my fit to fly expires. Was thinking of going to the US to birth my baby but hubby thinks there is no economic importance to it and it’s a waste of money & financial resources. His reason is because we (including our baby) will eventually relocate to Canada even if he’s born here(Nigeria).
What do u guys think?
Will I be wasting money birthing our baby in d US even when our Canada App is almost pulling through. Does children not born in CAD/USA have the same benefit as the ones born there?

Pls ignore my errors. I really do hope someone understands my drift n can provide necessary feedback ASAP.

Valid point generally, but not really applicable to NOC 6332.

The employment requirements states:

"Completion of secondary school is usually required.
Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers or Completion of a college or other program for bakers or Several years of commercial baking experience is usually required.
On-the-job training may be provided.
Trade certification is available, but voluntary, in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Red Seal endorsement is also available to qualified bakers upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.

Your choice.

My thoughts: If you are sure of your documents for EE, no need for the US birth.

Canadian passport is as powerful as American passport.
