With a Masters degree and work permit nd having worked in Canada, why didnt u apply for PR as it would almost be automatic. 2. If you havent started, why didnt u start with wxprews entry as u have an upper hand. MrsBMWM90: |

[qquote author=MrsBMWM90 post=73363380]GOOD DAY All, our experienced people and professionals, thank you for your wonderful contributions and assistance. God bless you all. My issue is a little peculiar. I have a few questions. I intend to apply for a visitor visa for me and my 13mth old in order to give birth in canada. I am currently four months pregnant. 1) I am presently working but my salary and bank balance is minimal so my hubby would be sponsoring this trip. Please apart from the sponsorship letter he would write for us does he have to get a letter of introduction from his office stating that he works with them presently or does his employment letter suffice? 2) he has just 5million in his account would this be Ok? My aunty would be writing an invitation letter to state that she would be responsible for feeding and accommodation. 3) for me, unfortunately I work with the civil service and for now I can't get a letter of introduction can I use just my employment letter. Also I didn't change my surname yet in the civil service so it carries my unmarried name. Would this affect me after I submit my marraige certificate? Which was after I got employment with the state govt. 4) i was in canada for my masters from 2012-2013 and I was also given a postgraduate work permit which I used for about 2yrs plus before I came to Nigeria for reasons beyond my control at d time.I had a clean record. Does this help my cause? Thank you I would appreciate your reply, I have already delayed so long but I decide to give it a try.[/quote] |

lol...my sister you are one of d experts oo.... Please help o. I have to apply for d visa soon. ok to your questions:- 1) as at the time i had to come back due to some situations in Nigeria has nothing to do with canada. 2) For now, I am also taking another degree at the moment, that might take a while to complete. If i applied for PR now I might have some hiccups if I get the PR soon, the PR is still a prospect Hotstepper: |

Good Luck ooo with the search. I have no idea about any gynea there . I think someone posted some time ago how expensive it is to birth there so u have to have that in mind. You might want to visit a clinic so u can be refereelrd to a gynea hopefully . Good Luck and welcome to Canada's capital city ![]() [aquote author=Imarama post=73559970] Dear Nairalanders, Hotstepper our dear hotstepper, I arrived Ottawa over the weekend, my timeline for visa application was shared on the visit visa thread. Can me and my mother apply to Canada embassy, purpose is my mom to assist my wife and me to experience my wife first child birthing...? What's our chance...? do we apply together, or we apply seperately ...? |
| Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Nobody: 12:07pm On Dec 05, 2018 |
Thanks to all the contributors on this thread, the info here is invaluable. I've been silently reading up on all the pages here and just took the decision to apply about a week after I got a 221g interview invitation from the US Embassy and couldn't find any available dates before I'm due to travel cos I'm currently 24weeks gone and due in March next year. Thankfully that has been resolved, just got a favourable date now. Anyways here's how the Canada TRV application went for us: Submitted online application with hubby as PA: November 13th 2019 Biometrics Enrolment: November 15th 2019 Original passport request: December 4th 2019 Vacation and birth tourism were stated reasons for applying. Got lots of info from here and dove into the application right away, just so grateful to God that we had our application processed quite quickly. Onto active Dr, Hospital and accommodation search now. Headed to Oshawa, Toronto, that's where I stated as my destination in my application. All the best with all your plans dear mommas and daddies too. |
