Hello Everyone, I submitted my application at Abuja TLS Centre on 16th October 2018 for a 6 month visitor visa for a training in UK for Mid-December 2018, I am yet to receive any update as regard my application. I called the Visa Immigration Centre this morning and the officer that picked the call said she can't trace my GWF no, she asked for some other details and promised to escalate the matter. Please what else can I do? Thanks |

Pls on the UK visa application form...The question: Total amount of money you earn per annum 1.is it only my salary OR Total salary + bonus and allowance? 2.Heard from visa agent that they don't accept hostel booking anymore....said it's better I book hotel. True? Attention Justwise, ekpotek and other gurus in the house. |

tasho105:As regards the second question, I booked a hostel for my application and still got the visa. This was as recent as a week ago. |

Shadyz:I really don't understand what your agent did to your application and you need to correct those inconsistencies and present your situation as its. Present your salary account with payslips, explain any amount in that account that is not your salary or bonus. Make fresh hotel booking and list places you want to visit in the UK, if you can pay for tour package fine but if you can't then add the cost to your budget. In your budget avoid spending more than 2months of your salary and state clearly how you want to spend your budget in the UK. |

justwise:would do just that..tnk u so much |

Gideonaigbe: justwise:Good day all, Do you think it’s too late to apply for a proposed trip scheduled for the 11th-22nd of December...? I have already submitted my form online last week with biometrics scheduled for Wednesday... Do I risk it and go the normal route or just pay for priority service? Has anyone used the priority route successfully recently? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by shawlar(m): 11:20pm On Dec 03, 2018 |
aderemi166:Please, is it compulsory that the family pic must be on A4 paper? How did you get yours on that size, was it normal paper or picture/glossy quality paper? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by aderemi166: 11:45pm On Dec 03, 2018 |
shawlar:Yes please, all documents, receipts and pictures must be in A4 for scanning, if not it will be returned without been scanned. How? I used PicsArt App on my phone to merge 6 different pictures, saved it on a flash drive to print it out on A4 paper (in colour) from a Biz Centre shop. |

How should my wife answer this question in her UK Visa application 'How much money are you planning to spend on your visit to the UK? ' Even though she is working but I will be the one to pay for the family ( 4 of us, myself, wife and 2 kids) trip to the UK. Kindly note that I have competed my own application and put the total cost for the 4 of us in my own application. |

justwise:Dear Justwise. Many thanks for ur prompt response. . My other questions 1. Should I write in official Coy letterhead to ECO stating that 2.55m from the Coy 2018 profit will be used for family vacation. 2. Check the following proposed expenses and see if it's prudent for a family of 6 ( husband, wife and 4 kids) Return tickets 2943 pounds Accomodation for 6 nights 780 pounds Tourism 300 pounds Feeding 600 pounds Transport 300 pounds Miscellaneous 600 pounds Total 5502 pounds that's about 2.56m. Is this much for a family of 6? |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Menakay(m): 6:24pm On Dec 04, 2018 |
kokoli:I ll advice u look for a transit flight that will be cheaper, book hostel accommodation and put £400 for your living expenses, by doing this u will reduce the cost of the trip. U can get 10days hostel accommodation in London for less than £200 |

Plssssss I need help. One letter word mistake on airline ticket what is the experience. The ticket was booked yesterday and I saw the mistake today (in the night). Its Kenya airways. The person who booked the ticket says it s a big serious mistake. The mistake was made in one of my children name. We are 3 with the same surname but a one f was replaced with g in one of the child. Anyone with similar experience? We are travelling in one week. |

MaBuk:If its an agent that booked the ticket, tell him to add an OSI-Pax surame is . . (Insert the surname) from the Gds to the booking. Once hes done that, go to kenya airways office with the international passport of the affected child. Hopefully they will change it. Mistakes on surnames are bid deal for airlines. |

justwise:Dear Justwise This is a tough call. We spent so much on our application and going to apply again? Hmmm Anyway, now that we appealed and we are not sure of when they will respond, can we go ahead and apply for a visiting Visa as have been doing before now? The one we are appealing is settlement Visa. My daughter and I have been visiting before we made our application for settlement because my husband got his ILR. We had thought that we wont have any issues applying to join him but unfortunately we were denied. We really would like to visit him that is why i need your advise on what to do next since we dont have the finance for now to reapply for settlement Will the on going appeal affect our application for visit? |

Gideonaigbe:Go with original documents(all in A4 paper size), you Dont need to make photocopies of the original copies, except if they are not in A4 size. The documents will be scanned and returned to you. |
