How can someone who calls himself a pastor Boast of himself 'Dangerously Rich". You encourage people to pay their tithe to the Church... Here is a Question. Who does these Pastors pay their Tithe to, and with what evidence. The scripture only advise Christ Followers to be contempt with whatever God bless them with and not to brag about it. what is much important is the Basic things of life which are Food, Cloth, and Shelter. 1 Corinthians 4 : 7 Says... For who makes you different from another? indeed, what do you have that you do not receive? if, in fact, you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not receive it? Matthew 19: 23 , 24.... Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”… Personally i am not surprise... Jesus have forewarned us that Matthew 7 15-20.... 15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. But my Master (Jesus) Said in same Matthew 7: 21-23. 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ If you know the truth... It will set you free. Jesus didn't preach riches. He preached Salvation (God's Kingdom). King Solomon calls it Vanity upon Vanity. 1 John 2: 15-17. 15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[d] is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. 99% men of God in shitty hole countries like Nigeria have helped themselves with the funds gotten from members tithings,seed sowing,pledges and giftings....The whites that brought about christianity in the 15th century isn't as rich and flamboyant as that of Nigerian pastors/men of God. The worst part is that,there is too much poverty in the land and these churches have capitalized on that to collect the little her members have,by preaching about tithing all the time. God will appreciate it more if you take that help to those who really needs it, like the motherless babies home,internally displaced persons,that beggar on the road,that/those widows you know....Cloth them,feed them,put a roof over their heads and give them money. |

 i have always said the most lucrative professions in naija are 1: politics 2: pastoring 3:yahoo yahoo 4: yahoo plus 5:rituals 6; runzing . Pastoring is d the second most profitable profession in nigeria. Imagine having a followers of 50 thousand and they will be dropping 100 naira everyday in the box.dats sumpting na.. I'm not into organized religion but its actually a non issue Is Oyedepo dangerously wealthy= Absolutely So he is just stating the obvious,everyone has a right to be wealthy as long as its not in a criminal way He doesn't need to be proud or humble he is just been himself.
