If Marvel doesn't up their game in film production by 2018, it is very likely that even the coming Flash movie will stand head- to-head with the so called Avengers Infinity. DCEU is bringing a new technique to the table, which might mar Marvel in the future. Don't forget that the Flash already has a strong followership in the TV world with one successful serie in the 90s and the current flash series...

Still two weeks away from its North American release and Aquaman is already making big waves as it opens overseas.

The latest DCEU film has earned $24.6 million in China during its first full opening day after earning $1.19 million from Thursday night previews. This gives the film the highest earning opening day box office of any Warner Bros. release in the country. The previous record holder was Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice which earned $21.2 million on its opening day including Thursday previews in 2016.

Well on its way to having the best opening weekend box office of any DCEU film in film in China, the highest opening weekend total for the studio currently remains with Batman v. Superman, which earned $57.2 over the course of its first weekend in theaters.

With strong word-of-mouth buzz and Chinese audiences especially receptive to Hollywood superhero films, the studio hopes Aquaman will have staying power at the cinemas as last year's Justice League is the only DCEU film to date to earn over $100 million cumulatively in China. And with its impressive Chinese opening, the studio's tentative plans for a sequel have just taken a much larger step towards becoming a reality.

I don't know why Warner Bros is hell bent on ruining DCEU. What is this rumour that I am hearing, that there are talks for an Aquaman sequel. Really, are these guys serious?

What WB should be thinking of doing now is to build up and develop the DCEU and bringing about an Aquaman sequel is certainly not a way to go about it.

As a matter of fact, if they are to build up The DCEU, no sequels should be produced for any of the already produced DCEU movies. What they should be doing or should have done is, first of all, list out all the Hero characters they want to be part of the first phase of the justice league and then produced a solo movies for all of them, then a justice league movie where all the characters will come together due to certain factors to battle a common evil. After that they can then go ahead to produce sequels for some of the movies that needs a sequel including introducing new characters into the universe either as supporting characters or Major characters in their own solo movies not forgetting producing movies for other non justice league DC teams. After that, a justice league sequel which will include the new characters should then produced followed by more sequels movies and the introduction of more characters and the trend continues. That's how to build a universe. That's what Marvel did. They created solo movies for the characters they want to be part of the first phase of the Avengers before they produced the Avengers movie followed by more solo movies which includes sequels and then an Avenger sequel and the trend continued. Not what WB is doing.

I don't think WB has a blue print on how to develop the DCEU because the clueless stuffs they are doing now is really alarming, churning out movies for production that are not necessary now and shutting off necessary movies.

An Aquaman sequel is not needed not even a Wonder Woman or Man Of Steel. What WB should be thinking of producing now are The Flash, Cyborg, Shazam, Green Lantern and The Batman movie before thinking of producing sequels including a Justice league sequel, if needed and of course movies of non justice league DC teams e.g Birds Of Prey.

WB are just in a hurry to make money which isn't wrong but there is something this guys are forgetting which is, to build a business, one has to build a brand or a name then the brand or name builds the business. That's what Disney did with marvel, they build a brand first before they started thinking about profit. That's why no matter how crappy a marvel movie may be so far it's under the marvel or MCU brand, it's gonna be a hit both critically and box office returns. That's how it works. People don't patronise products or services, they patronise brands or name. It's high time WB understand this. They should focus on building the DCEU, building a brand or name for it but no, greed won't let WB do the right thing. They shouldn't make the mistake FOX made with the X-men, lack of Universe progression and develop.

As a matter of fact, if WB is clueless on what to do with DC, they should sell it off to Disney, because Disney simply knows what to do with superhero or comic universe.

Please WB should not ruin DC for me. Anyways, that's that for that. Back to the matter. I'm super hyped for Aquaman. I'm literally counting the days to it's release date.
