Hhmmm okay but please is it all agents that are scammers because this agent I'm about to use was referred to me from someone in the states whom she assisted

Bros, there are still Few GOOD PEOPLE even among agents. But why give a very critical assignment pertaining to one's life to the hands of a third party?
Now let me digress a lil, I was refused a while ago due to the fact I neglect what I was supposed to do myself. I sent a friend to apply for transcripts for my evaluation at WES while I was busy at work. That was his first time of doing such for either himself or anyone. To cut the story short, he applied for SESSIONAL transcript instead of the Complete one.. When WES received it, they informed me after a week that the transcript only had my 100level courses only. Unfortunately the girl she met that works with DHL was a new recruit who had no idea of how stuffs worked Infact she didn't include a copy of my certificate. ;DI was devastated and had to apply for another one, this in turn slowed the application process down a great deal.
I was able to get October 19 for interview and the resumption date was 22nd of the same month. The VO asked me straight to my face, when did you started this application?? I knew she was not comfortable with the dates on the i20. She refused me with no remorse. There might have been other reasons that contributed to my refusal but I am very sure the time factor was one of them.!!

In a nutshell, there is nothing too difficult to handle about USA admission process Bros. Find time, research on stuffs, ask questions here. Don't use agents. You know yourself than anyone. Gratze.

This is deep and honest truth but the reason I decided to use an agent is because 1. I'm going for an undergraduate course and this is the first time I will attempt applying for school in the states... Yes at a point I was doing the processes my self to Ashland University, but I'm required to write an exam which I don't have an idea about.. So the person I'm supposed to meet in the states referred the agent he used to me, so I met her and asked questions.

Okay.. There are folks on here who can help you out with the registration process with subsidized charges. Then you can contact BYMAFIT at Ikeja as well. I did my GRE through them and I paid a considerable amount as at that time. All you need to do is study well and you will be fine.
As I said, nothing is so deep about USA visa process unlike Canada and Australia grin grin

Don't waste your money by selecting International Courier ,which just has tracking option.

I recommend you to select standard delivery
Standard delivery takes 10-15 days, whilst International courier takes 3-4 days

Thanks boss..so i should use standard delivery? Hope it would be safe too And also please can you check the image below... i am still being charged a extra 30usdollar for the both of them

My case exactly. The school states Jan 7th and 8th for students check in and clearance, orientation proper is 11th. Visa appointment date is 11th, and my request for an expedited appointment has just been denied.

Guys, what do I do?

West Virginia University in Morgantown is a little rural. Some folks like it there but others don't. With respect to doing a masters in social works, the monetary benefits in terms of salary may not be too appealing and some places may need you to get a license to be a licensed social worker. Alternatively, with an economics degree, you could consider doing a masters in health economics instead. The pay is much better than that of social works.

Call the school and inform them of your challenge. They should be able to work you through or provide an alternative for paying the fee.

A Nigerian applying for US visa outside their native country is bound to be denied. Nigerians for that matter! You should have come home and apply for the b1/b2 and it would have been granted. Now, that you are in Nigeria, and you want to apply for a Master's program, you've got a lot of work to do. Using google would help. Start there. You are asking for so much with your request: school without GRE, etc. And you may not find it!

Anyway, if you are missing something, ask your questions here, or reach out to me.

This is not absolutely right. Many of my friends applying from outside of Nigeria have never been denied visa. He was a student and all he had to do was to defend why he was visiting the US.

Yes , it's possible for F1 visa but you won't find it funny with the V.O if you reappear within a very short period. They might ask you what have changed in your application or why you think you are qualified now.

What could have changed could be an understanding of the interview being a discuss and not an outright denial process which implies such a candidate believes he is more prepared now than s/he was.

Tell your "friend" (which we all know is you) to chill. His application is under administrative processing. Once "your friend" gets approved, his profile would change to approve. Afterwards he would get a mail and text from the embassy to come pick up his/her passport.

Going back to Abuja before receiving the mail and text won't bear any fruit. He should be patient.
