Thank you so much. This is really helpful. Yes, I did send my CV and my undergraduate degree was in economics. I will structure my preparations along these lines.

Can someone use the summer admission letter (same school) in regards to the extension deadline requested by the embassy after waiting so long, instead of applying for the visa again?
Will it be accepted? I know luck can play its part on each individual case

I really don't know but you can try, mail them and see. It worked for some STK ppl you can try.

Hey, I almost forgot, you should prepare a few questions you'd like to ask them, it's advisable to ask questions related to the program, shows you took out time to go through their brochure, and you're willing to put in work and make research.
I'm my case I asked how the structured and paired students during the thesis preparation, and I was lucky to have the lecturer taking my area of specialization at the interview so I directed some career inclined questions to him.

You should have an idea of what topic you want to research during your thesis, and why that topic,my school demanded it.
Best if luck.

Good day house. I applied for the MA development economics program at Gottingen University. I received an email from the department today to prepare for a Skype interview next week. I will appreciate sample interview questions from past or current applicants into this program or similar program in other schools. Thank you for your responses.

That's a step towards being admitted, as indicated on their website to conduct Skype interview if need be to get more info.
Meanwhile, what course did you study in Uni and grade?

Sorry bro. From my experience too, I think its better if you use a laptop to book it. Such errors won't occur on a laptop browser. Hope you get a date as soon as possible.

I studied Economics from Unilag but I'm a trained BI, Data Analyst and Developer.

The job role i'm taking up is a BI Developer.

Hey! I was looking forward to your response related to my enquiry about the relationship between BI & MIS.. However, can you kindly let me know where you obtained your BI training from?

I just found out that fintiba charges 89 euro
While x patrio charges 49 euro

I want to opt for xpatrio cos it's cheaper

Please, what are the pros and cons of using xpatrio....

Fintiba is cheaper than Xpatrio because the amount you need to block in fintiba is 8640 while for Xpatrio is 8849. I guess that's why most people go for fintiba. but Xpartio is way less stressful than fintiba in terms of unblocking your account.

I will not tell you which one to choose. You have to decide that on your own so go to their website and read thoroughly on their offers, terms, and conditions.

All the best

I have seen some good courses related to software development but then when I check requirements I see stuff like Specifically, admission to the graduate MSc programme requires knowledge in propositional and predicate logic, linear algebra, calculus, probability theory, automata and formal languages as well as familiarity with object-oriented modelling and experience with object-oriented programming languages.
I don't know automata.
The course is MSc in International Software Systems Science
University of Bamberg
I did pure physics here in unilag.
Those things up there dey weak me small.
Also this English language requirement.cant I juts tell them my Bsc was in English entirely.
Even at that those things up there dey make me feel like if I go now I may struggle to catch up.
I swaer four years for Nigeria be like waste.

Write a mail to the school detailing your complaints, they'll advice you better. As for the language requirement, you can either send them a mail requesting for an explanation as to why you have to prove your language proficiency when your country's first language is English and you've schooled your whole life in English or you can go to your university and request that they give you a letter of language proficiency, stating that your BSc program was completely taught in English language (before you run and get this, kindly confirm from the school if they'll accept it) finally, when writing Saud mail, be firm but polite, so you don't give off the "rude or entitled" attitude. Don't blame them, many "graduates" from Nigeria can barely string up a complete sentence.
All the best!

No worries, sorry for the too many messages, I just keep remembering stuff.
At the end of the interview, endeavor to catch the names of the interviewers, that way you can check their pages on the schools website for their emails, send them a thank you mail right after, it's also a chance to reiterate your passion for the school, sometimes you get a response, in my case I did.
Just bear in mind that they're interested in you and that's why you're getting a Skype interview.
Lastly, relax, smile, and enjoy the conversation.

Nah, skip the program. It'll be hard to secure admission when they see that core prerequisite courses are missing from your transcript. Even if you miraculously secure admission, catching up in school would be a difficult task.

Since you pay for charges, Fintiba is 8829
