Normally there are items that are exempted from custom duty because they a not brought in to the country in commercial quantity. As nigeria is a lawless country they may decide to hook you with custom fee depending on cost of the product. if the cost is minimal they may overlook it size and weight also matters.

Thanks brother.

The total cost is between 9 - 10k

Nurey, please Bro how much were you charge per dollar by Gtbank... I'm thinking of ordering a Nokia x6 on aliexpress @ $204 plus delivery fee for a 6gb ram variant. I think there is cheaper price on jumia express when I take considerations.

It all depends.

From AliExpress to Nigeria, you can get the seller to ship it for Free. Most sellers would agree depending on the value or volume.

In Nigeria, if AliExpress seller use a registered post to ship your order, It would get to the nearest post office close to your delivery address, so Nipost dispatch either bring your product to your doorstep or call you to come pick up your product at their office (Depending on the Area).

Nipost fee is between #0 - #500 depending on the weight of the package.

Cheers
please, is it advisable to input the post office address nearer to your house in the delivery address..e.g Mr nnamdi Abdul rotimi, Ikeja Allen post office, Lagos Nigeria

Please don't use a post office address except you have a registered mail box with them.

Use your house/office or school address whichever that applies to you.

Post office would (normally) deliver to your address or call you to come pick your item at their office.

Use your address (office or residential), once the seller shipped your order, use the tracking number to monitor the movement of your item from China to Nigeria.

Once your item get to Nigeria, use Nigeria Postal Service website (International Tracking) to track the post office where your item is located.

The post office that update your item as "Unsuccessful Delivery" is where you would collect your item.

Read this article https://www.buyqualityng.com/aliexpress-shipping-all-you-need-to-know/ to understand AliExpress shipping to Nigeria and this article
https://www.buyqualityng.com/how-to-track-aliexpress-order/ to understand how to track your order on AliExpress.

Not all orders are trackable, so please read those articles to understand the difference between registered mail and unregistered mail.

Orders shipped by AliExpress seller using registered mail is trackable up to delivery whereas orders shipped using unregistered mail aren't trackable outside China.

Hope this help you.

Cheers

How you pay is important. Never ever pay AliExpress seller directly always use AliExpress escrow. (Make payment on AliExpress with your card)

If your item isn't as described, you can seek for a refund immediately.

AliExpress doesn't pay the seller until the buyer confirm that he/she has received his/her order and satisfied. You're also expected to give feedback, rate seller, product quality, shipping time and if item received is as described.

Please ALWAYS READ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION on AliExpress before making or paying your order.

Never Ever buy any item on AliExpress based on the pictures uploaded by the seller and please take time out to read feedback from previous customers before buying.

Happy Shopping

if the post office is in your state go there and see for yourself if it's true or not. ensure the person you are paying is in an office not tout roaming the post office
