If you used the same name and email address for registering the said name to contact the client and your whois info is visible, you can tell the client to check whois info for the name. Good luck

Funny thing happened yesterday, I registered a name on Netsol, listed for $599 (undeveloped) and did outbound (facebook) immediately, I got two interested buyers, the first guy said he was interested, he dropped his email and I followed up. In less than 1 hour the other guy made an offer of $399 and I didn't counter it (I could have gotten more but I have learnt not to be greedy or attached to any domain), DOMAIN SOLD. Then 30 minutes later the other guy asked me why the domain was $599 bla bla bla, I told him that it has already been sold and I can't do anything about it, like 6hours later his business partner contacted me about the domain and asked if similar names are available, I asked him if he would be interested in buying the plural and he said yes. I don buy and put up the plural for $499, I know say before today go end, this one sef go sell.

Why did I tell this story? A GOOD DOMAIN AND A LITTLE MARKETING SKILLS ARE ALL YOU NEED TO SELL YOUR DOMAIN! If your question is HOW DO I GET A GOOD DOMAIN, my answer would be READ THIS THREAD FROM PAGE 1.

I have said that times without number but some didn't agree with me. I deliberately follow up a lead with my Gmail account and I closed the deal @ $2000. I didn't hide my identity and the deal closed within one week.

I just decided not to use my official email. not that I don't have one.

I sent some outbound messages to some geo FB pages this morning and I got this from one of them

Do you have any reports you could send us from analytics that shows the traffic coming through the site?

How do I reply because the domain does not have much traffic per say?

Estibot shows less than $100 and No monthly searches (because it was a deleted domain)

And it has just 14views last month and 6views only this month from undeveloped

Though 2 Word, Your Domain didn't sound great and lacks major targets in domaining; keyword combination and high competition. buying similar domains in the future may look like you're gambling. I searched for Instant potential buyers/companies for this domain but I couldn't find even one. moreover the singular which is more valuable is still available; clothingSUIT.com.
Ask of refund if the domain is less than 5 days old, then read and research more even outside this thread before buying your next domain.

Use the keywords in your domain to search for buyers.
e.g. I own nigerianfoods.com, I'll go to Google and search for "nigerian foods"
now I might get restaurants, food bloggers, foodmakers or anything on my results page, those are my leads/potential buyers for my domain, I then reach out to them with my sales letter and price.
It is advised to do this first before registering any name, so you won't just be said to be gambling.
