That was a subtle kick, but slightly below the belt.

It was constructive criticism. And as politely worded as helpfully possible.

@Transformium... Longest time... Please see the post below in response to your query

The Master Linker I hail oo grin. I went into hibernation for a bit and been very busy with work also.

Good news though, I just checked my BC IELTS result and I aced it in my first sitting. For writing I did just enough.

LRWS - 8.5,9.0,7.0,8.5

Please don't take the post out of its intended purpose...what I mean is if he writes the exams the way he posted that post on the forum then we can rightly say he is doing something wrong...listening and reading plus writing needs to be 100% correct in spelling hence why I said what I said...hope you get now?
No bro....I was just joking.

Hubby used ICES. Evaluation took 4weeks from the time they received his transcript. Took 2 weeks to get the hardcopy due to unforeseen delays.
Was there a change of status on the web page or you just got the report when the evaluation was done? I'm trying to monitor mine and I can't see any update. Its been 5weeks already.

After a very long wait, finally passed my IELTS. LRWS-8.5,9,7,7.5. Thought I could get in the pool immediately but turns out I need my TRF no.

Congratulations.
Osaze007:
My pple well done
I just got an offer as assistant director with a bank in Toronto (4 levels higher than my previous role in dubai)
I can’t even believe my luck
This year I lost my job in dubai and thought my life would come crashing
I had mental illness and my body will move involuntary
I felt like a failure
I gained weight due to depression
I had blanks out and forgot what I was meant to do at work
I originally planned to move to Canada for good late 2019 little did I know God sent the storm my way to place me where I need to be
I want you to know no matter how stormy the situation you will overcome
Pray and always plan ahead
I have never seen anyone suffer due to both

I’m starting 2019 on a super solid note
I’m now ready to settle down with a woman that has sense
A working class woman ready to build our future estate/kingdom

Life is good
I have lost weight
I don’t have blank outs again
Everything is going smoothly
Peace out

The online application will allow you to check the status of your application by indicating:
* Incomplete

* Received
* Complete
No further details about the status of the evaluation will be available.

You can also reach them via email. They will reply your mails.

Have you been able to view your results? Having the same issue. Although it is stated on the website that results will be rolled out over 24 hours.

Apparently, you can only avoid the gift deed if you saved the money. And this will be evident as soon as they see your average balance over 6 months.

The main reason why you need the gift deed is to confirm to the officer that you did not Borrow the funds, which when you read the policy statement that's what they don't want and they also know where the lump sum is coming from. So failure to include this will most likely result in a returned application.

So save yourself the headache.

Having gone through the "Gift of Deed" in page one, I still need some clarifications on it.

I discovered that one can avoid gift of deed by investing the fund in a fixed deposit or TB at least 6months, then use the statement as POF.... Though I stand to be corrected

My concern is

My cumulative salary for my 3 years work experience(NYSC and Teaching job) is not up to the minimum amount required of an individual applicant.

Raising the money is not an issue, will get it from my brother. But won't it raise an eyebrow when my documents are being screened?

I just want to avoid "Gift of Deed" if possible and go for a single bank statement from FB or TB

y are u trying to avoid using a gift deed if i may ask?

From what I read in page one, someone suggested avoiding gift deed if possible... That's actually why I raised the issue here, to know if I can opt for bank statement from TB or FD

It sure did!. I didn't know LISTENING was given any preferential treatment in CRS . I would have given it more attention while preparing for the exam.

It was very bad to put listening at the last lap. My hubby was already hungry and a bit drained. He didn't really make his listening 7.5 the rest were all fabulous

Thanks for this info. I was concerned about questions about my child. But I guess I can provide all sorts of docs and picture evidence.

Oakville19:
I suggest you change it now since that is what you intend to use in the long run.

I still use my maiden name on my passport and I have never had any issue traveling with my kids, you can just hold their birth certificate in case any question is asked.

First of all, You don't have to wait for the name change before starting IELTS. Start whatever you want now and then when you change your name, add an affidavit/LOE to explain.
Your change of surname will not affect your child in the slightest.

Thank you for this.
