ItzBIM:The question you should be asking is “why are yorigba yoots not supporting sowOLE?” Why are yuroba dying over buhari? And with with regards to tribalism and religion, it was awolowoe that introduced tribalism into Nigerian politics. An Igbo man named Zik won the election in western region, but awolowoe convinced his other afonjas to deny Zik the right to lead western region. Also, awolowoe introduced religion into Nigerian politics when he discriminated against youruba Muslims. When awolowoe was leading the afonjas, he only appointed youruba Christians into top positions. The likes of adeniran ogunsanya, adekunle ajasin were all Yoruba Christians. This actions of awolowoe maltreating yoruoba muslims was why S.L Akintola (a yorigba muslim) aligned with the Islamic North to imprison awolowoe. Today, tinubu is a Yoruba muslim who is marginalizing yprouba christians. No yoruoba Christian is in any top position on youruba land today. |

[quote author=PreciousJuice post=74318725]The likes of sowore and Durotoye coming out to contest the presidency is a good indication that the youths will eventually take the wheels of this country from the Ancestors ruling us like its their birth right. However, none of these young aspirants have what it takes to get this nation back on its feet at the moment. Imagine sowore telling us he will legalise marijuana use to generate income , that is a catastrophic move in a fragile country like ours, things will definitely go out of control, legalising marijuana use is not the solution to our problems, it will only add more. For this reasons and many more let these young chaps keep contesting until the good old chaps get us back in the right track, then we can vote young minds to ensure we remain on the right path. Shalom. Why do people like misquoting? He said he will diversify the economy by making marijuana and export commodity. He didn’t say he’ll make it for consumption Plus marijuana is the least amongst our problems in People still abuse marijuana even without it being legalized. Na wa for una o |

PreciousJuice: In your unintelligent analysis... when and how long should proper orientation starts. You people have been made mad either with corruption, selfishness or illiteracy. Sowore with all the great idea the only one you could misinterprete to mislead your stupid followers is the marijuana for for medical export and not for local consumption. Sowore never said people should start smoking marijuana but he said marijuana has a great future medical export business value. 1 Like |

If he have no experience in leading at all he wouldn't get to where he is today.......You have to understand you don't have to get close to your grave or be a king before you understand life and people and have what it take to rule, We have 20 years old men that are wiser that 70 years old men, someone that haven't rule before can surpass someone that have been ruling for so many years. ItzBIM:How do you break free when the northern youths and afonja youths have sworn to remain slaves of the old caliphate order. Today, tinubu has offered the entire yoruoba people as slaves to the Fulani. Thesame way the hausa have become eternal slaves to the Fulani. Brethren, no hope. Just find your way out of that contraption. Even sowOLE is living abroad and enjoying 24hrs electricity. 1 Like |

Olawalesmarter:list the political position he had up till now ? abi you think Nigeria is a straight forward country where everybody will do your bidding like its your private property ? gej tried it and the north frustrated him buhari nko ? nass are currently frustrating him even obj look it takes a hacker proper understanding and experience before the hacker can successfully hack anything, Nigeria need someone that understand the complex dynamics of the country political space with a first hand experience in one of the political position that can tweak the already bastardized system positively and yes Nigeria political system is fraud that's why nothing good can come out of it, that's why we all should clamour for restructuring |

tobaaro: There are many people who held no political position before becoming presidents. 1. Nelson Mandela of South africa 2. Berlusconi of Italy 3. Donald Trump and four other American Presidents. The list goes on and on. You don't need to have political experience to become president. What is more important is ability to manage and move people. The people who create constitutions all over the world know this that is why they often don't include political experience as a criterion for becoming president. Experience is important, but not necessarily political. There are people who even prefer candidates that have not been a part of the usually corrupt political system. An example is mandela who was not a part of the corrupt system who did well and Zuma who had experience with the corrupt system and messed the country up. 1 Like |

PreciousJuice: Legalizing marijuana in Nigeria or not won't stop the fact that people will still abuse the drug. So, because of that alone everyone should vote for clueless old hags like Atiku and Buhari right ? We are not looking for a perfect leader. We are looking for someone that will have the genuine love of the people at heart. Whatever he has in his manifesto will be subject to the decision of the legislature if he eventually becomes the Nigeria president. Nobody should fret himself about legalization of marijuana at all. Have been following Sowore for long. All the interviews he had granted, he had displayed incredible industry wisdom in Nigeria politics. Those of you who are wise should come out to contest and stop doing an arm chair criticsm, discouraging the bold and serious people from salvaging this shithole. It's high time the leadership wheel of this country is taken off the hands of the greedy and dubious old thieves of leaders we have in this country. It's obvious the old idiotic and brainless present and past Nigerian leaders have nothing to offer the nation. They are disapointments to this nation as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes with all the wickedness they exhibit years on end, I feel it was an error for my creator to push me to a country like Nigeria during my birth. The artificial hardship these leaders have been causing in the land constantly and subtly affects the citizens negatively, and that's why all sorts of vices are on the rise in Nigeria. Instead of looking to the source of the problem of the country, which is mismanagement, nepotism and favouritism, they will be chasing after Yahoo Yahoo; they will be chasing after citizens that stole bread because he probably had no food to eat as a result of lack of good job. Some of the old idiotic leaders would say that why can't citizens do menial jobs like hawking on the street or similar useless jobs. Some will even say that doing jobs like these is better than stealing. Bad things will continue to occur in this nation not until the source and cause of these vices have been tackled. Abeg, let's stop finding fault in Sowore and any young aspirants. 3 Likes |

bantudra: The Nigerian middle class likes to wait for the upper class to endorse a person before they can vote for them. If you are a graduate you are in that class- never mind that you may not be there economically. Your intellect places you in it. .Jesus told the Pharisees that they would not accept him because they were seeking one another's approval. The Pharisees were the enlightened people of their time. They were versed in the law and not at the level of the commoners but they needed to see that someone of high social status was vouching for Jesus before they would follow him. Why do we need OBJ, Tinubu, Danjuma, Babangida and other people in their class to endorse a candidate before we support him or her? Are the above mentioned persons in our class? Do they have our worries? When they were in the middle class in the sixties and seventies and they decided to take over government, did they not just do so? Here is the news and you know it: The change you seek will never come from the upper class. No revolution ever does. They say that necessity is the mother of invention. Obasanjo, Tinubu, Danjuma and Babangida do not have the need we have for a revolution. No real change will be brought by the upper class. 2 Likes |
