the name "igala" means something in Yoruba. Igala, Yoruba, itsekiri are related linguistically. I heard somewhere "Oduduwa" even first landed in idah( an LG in kogi east) and even got that name "oduduwa" which literally means " Lord/ sent" or "from God" , before moving to ife. You can now see why Yoruba and igala are related. Na so I read am.
